We had a great experience with Jamie Kolk we toured up and down the island several times house hunting. We covered a lot of miles and he pointed out issues with homes subtly and with good observation. About a year ago, my wife and I decided to take to leave the city; move from Toronto to Ladysmith to live back on the island I grew up on. We chose to rent first, then buy our house once we got to know the town. We reached out to Jamie before all of this and he started to help us right away, even though he knew that we were not looking to buy for awhile. He even gave my wife a tour when she visited the Island alone to see whether moving out here was the right call.

When we finally started to look for a place, Jamie was patient. He knew what we wanted and he was able to help pick out suitable home so that when we were ready to take the leap, he would be there. And he was. From the knowledge of what to look out for when we toured the houses, to the process of purchasing our first house, Jamie was clear and knowledgeable in all the places where I wasn't. He knew what the hiccups we were to face well before we would.

For the actual purchase, the process was smooth. So smooth that it felt like something was wrong, or missing. As I write this, my wife and I are settled in our house for sometime, and nothing has gone wrong. We doubt anything will.

I will recommend Jamie's services to any friend who wishes to move to Ladysmith if they want to buy a home. I may not know you as well, but you should give him a call as well. I promise you won't be wasting your time.

When we decide to purchase our house last year, we were still in China and getting ready for the big moving journey back to Canada. Jamie was so helpful and on top of things all the time, it wasn't a easy deal to seal, but he is doing everything he could to help us to solve all problems while we couldn't be here, very good communication, we are very appreciate his effort, definitely will recommend to all our family and friends for his service!
