Very (too) touristy! The horses are tied up all day long in the sun, with their saddles, bits and anti-grazing muzzle, they work every day and do not have water at will! What is more, their meadows are muddy and small (relative to their numbers).
Horses are not bicycles, they are sentient beings: they need as much water as they want, freedom, rest and so on. As there are no other stables close to Jasper, if you want to go for a ride, prefer the good old-fashioned walk!
Très très (trop) touristique ! Les chevaux sont attachés toute la journée au soleil, avec leur selle, mors, muselière anti-broutage, ils travaillent tous les jours et l'eau n'est pas à volonté ! De plus, leurs prés sont boueux et petits (par rapport à leur nombre).
Les chevaux ne sont pas des bicyclettes mais bien des êtres sentients : ils ont besoin d'eau à volonté, de liberté, de repos, etc. Etant donné qu'il n'y a pas d'autres écuries proches de Jasper, si vous souhaitez faire une balade, préférez la bonne vieille randonnée à pieds !

Disons que l’on se balade l’esprit tranquille, en étant à cheval et non a pied vis-à-vis des ours …

Le personnel sur place est efficace, mais seulement … aimable mais sans plus, des petits efforts rendraient l’expérience plus agréable au départ et à l’arrivée.

Notre guide était cependant très bien ! Une jeune dynamique qui expliquait bien à propos de la nature et de la faune.

Les chevaux sont bien traités, cela se voit, oeil de cavalier prenant soin de ses chevaux !

We booked the Valley ride and it was perfect pace and distance as a beginner rider. Beautiful trails. The guide was really informative about where we were going and how to handle the horses. We did get to see a momma elk and a baby just born.

What a fantastic afternoon! I took a two hour ride and was so fortunate to be the only one with my guide Vic. Her peaceful energy and her knowledge of the surrounding nature was extraordinary. My experience today was exactly what I had hoped for and then some. I was paired with a horse named blue and funny enough, his personality matched mine. I absolutely recommend this activity for all types of riders. From beginner to expert.

We had a fun experience riding horseback through the woods with the mountains in the background. Horses were well behaved. Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Beautiful setting to enjoy a leisurely ride. Great for ages 10 to senior.

Was such a wonderful ride. We saw a Mama bear and a baby bear - the first time they weren't alarmed by us but coming back we startled then and they were right on our trail - they both got up on their hind legs - we hade to stop for a few minutes and talk the down and the detour around them. The guides handled it super well and kept everyone calm and relaxed. They were super friendly and experienced as well. The whole family loved it!!

I'm a novice rider, but really enjoyed the ride. Chris, my ride, was very well behaved, my wife had Jill, who ambled along at her own speed.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Theresa was a very nice guide, with plenty of advice and stories on the ride.

We booked a 2 hour ride (with short notice - called at 10ish for a 1pm ride). The staff were very accommodating and our ride ended up being just our group. We had a senior guide and a new guide (learning the trails). Both ladies were absolutely amazing!! They had information/history of the area and chatted the entire ride with us. The ride was a walking pace which gave plenty of time to enjoy the gorgeous scenery!! We will be back!!
