Jay truly went above and beyond helping me navigate purchasing my first home! He carefully and thoroughly explained all of the documents we needed to sign, he was flexible with meeting times and accommodating; always working around our schedules, and was prompt with replying to any questions we had. He even provided us with multiple contacts for other professionals that we would need in the home buying process (i.e lawyers, brokers, etc.). Above all else, he was so incredibly kind and enthusiastic. You could tell he genuinely wanted us to find the perfect home. DO NOT USE IF YOU LIVE OUT OF TOWN. I attempted to use Jay to list my condo. The sign and lock box took 3 weeks to go up. New pictures were not taken the previous listing pictures were used. There was very poor communication regarding what was going on. When the listing ended it took over two weeks to get the listing taken down. I had a horrible experience with both Jay Johnson and Better Homes and Garden Real estate.
