I am tired of uninformed "pat" answers when there are problems. JEMS is an expensive buffer for our board. Feb 6/25. That JEMS is a buffer was proven tonight at an open board meeting. Apparently the only answers to questions will come from JEMS. "That's what we're there for". Well it would be great if they were fully informed, but...

As an owner, I called regarding the sale of my condo and requested some documents. Not only would I be charged excessively for them, I was also given a number of opinions which were not asked for. I'll let my lawyer work with them directly. Jems led us to leave our condo for good, and they even belittle you on the way out. We are tired of the condescention and are looking forward to severing our ties with this management company. Of course, Jems will read this review and will continue their malpactice as always. I would advise all condo boards to search elsewhere.

As a new condo owner. I have had the pleasure of interacting with Dara on multiple occasions. She has been more then helpful and quick to respond. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I am confident I am dealing with a very competent management company.

Jems is the management company for our condo. Our complex is neat/clean/safe. When we have an issue and call or email, our concerns are addressed and questions answered in a professional manner. I would assume that the ladies in the office are often attacked verbally and may respond in the same tone (per the negative reviews). When I contact Jems (or other businesses), I find that if I'm calm and kind that is returned to me.

I would give zero stars if I could. They bully and harass you over what you can and can’t have on your deck down to what the shelves are allowed to look like, what colour that bulb is only allowed to be, they will fine you for that. If you don’t comply and obey basically and get rid of anything they don’t like, you’ll face vague threats and fines. They nit pick over what you can have in your underground parking spot (which is ours, we paid to have it) when they offer no extra storage in the building like I know other condos in the city do in the parkade. Others in the building are tired of it. There’s tripping hazards in parts of the concrete sidewalk outside the building. They haven’t installed a new convex mirror by the opening to the garage in our building. It’s been years and none of those things have been fixed. Yet they want to come at the people who live in these walls. Over what they have on their decks or in their parking spot compared to the common areas which they are responsible for and are being neglected. I’m so tired of them and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone

I would like to thank Dara and her team. Jems has been our property management company for a number of years. This is not an easy job dealing with numerous issues/personalities. They are professional, timely and provide exceptional service.

Jems clients have the right to be treated with dignity and respect at all times. Condo owners and tenants should be able to live in their own home without verbal abuse. Most condo management companies respect this however Lindy and Dara do not.

They are bullies that bite the hands of the condo owners that feed their business, and their reputation proceeds them.

These ladies don’t get enough credit for the job they do! Anytime I have ever had an issue, they were prompt in response. They’ve always been respectful and followed condo regulations and standards to a “T”. Being a first time home owner, if something went wrong with my condo and I didn’t know what to do, I would call or email Dara or Lindy and they would give me advice. These ladies and their staff are verbally abused and bullied almost daily by owners that don’t get their way or don’t want to follow the rules that they signed they would abide by once they moved in. JEMS ensure condo rules are followed with site inspections. Unfortunately they have to be the ones that enforce those rules, leaving them vulnerable for being verbally abused, harassed and slandered on social media. As an owner, I want my condo community kept clean and tidy so my property value doesn’t tank. They try to ensure this doesn’t happen and our community doesn’t look like a junk yard. You ladies deserve a lot of credit and I’m so very grateful for your service! THANK YOU!!!
