Our family of four have decided to move back in Ontario from Vancouver BC to be closer to family in Peterborough. We were also ready to purchase our first time home and right away decided to look for real estate agents. Jessica Yates Team has really good reviews and was one of the top highly recommended real estate agents in Peterborough. So we gave them a call and within days they have contacted us which was amazing. Lindsay S called us and right away informed us the best communication which was through WhatsApp group (which I use a lot) that they have created for us and sent us emails as well to see home listings on their OneHome website that they sent of new listings appearing and old. This group communication has helped us tremendously when we have questions as they responds within minutes. The website also was super helpful for us to search listings that we are interested in and save those houses we would like to see and also do a comparison between houses. The amount of information and how easy the process of looking made this experience of looking for our first home unbelievably helpful. Our agent Lindsay is amazing the entire time! She right away made me fall in love with her and her personality! To be honest I was prepared to get annoyed as I have heard from friends in Vancouver that they hated their agent while searching for their home. They were jealous when I bragged about how great our agent is. The houses we chose to see was right away booked by the team and was very accommodating at which time is best for us. Lindsay was very patience and let us do our thing and never once made us feel pressured. She went with our flow and did not rushed us, she respected our space and decision. Lindsay would give her honest opinion and advice on the houses we would question, which we appreciate and take into account. The team also right away provided any inspection report available for us to look over to help us decide about certain house that we like, which again made an easy decision about that house. Within a month and a half of working with Lindsay, we found a house we really liked and love! We are still in disbelief of how fast and easy of finding a home was for us. The amount of information that the team provided for us, and their support was tremendously helpful! My little boys are in love with our new place and said it’s such a great choice.
