We worked with Jodie to sell our home in the spring of 2024. After living in our mobile home for 27 years it was time for us to make a move into a seniors facility. This was an emotional and difficult move for our whole family and unfortunately we chose the wrong Realtor to help us with this.

We met with Jodie as a family a number of times over the last few years leading up to the transition. She was very personable and friendly. We really liked her and when the time came to list the home we chose to work with her. When it came time to list the property the red flags started to appear. Jodie lacked any real strategic guidance on price and other critical matters. For example - she was not familiar with some of the legal requirements that needed to be met to list a mobile home and we were blindsided with additional requirements and costs at the time of listing.

While the trailer was listed, strategic decisions on pricing adjustments were continually put back on us to figure out with limited guidance coming from Jodie. She was very focused on factors beyond our control such as restrictions from the park owners.

Where things really went sideways was when an interested buyer approached Jodie without representation. She failed to inform us of this inquiry and showed the property without our knowledge. When these buyers wanted to make an offer, she chose to double-end the deal using the loophole of an "unrepresented buyer". When we were considering an offer from this buyer - we asked her about the possibility of reducing her commission to help close the deal, since she would be receiving both sides of the commission and only representing us. At this point, she became angry, unprofessional and derogatory, making statements like “you’re selling a metal box on land you don’t own” in regard to our home of over 25 years. Ultimately, we felt she was no longer acting our best interests and felt we had no choice but to sell for less than we wished just to end the matter.

Unfortunately, we would not work with Jodie again nor would we recommend her to others.

She always went above and beyond whether it was trying to find a place that met my criteria or working after hours to get the final deal done!
