Joel is a consummate professional. We first discussed a plan to sell a house with him last summer. Immediately, it impressed me that he had a well thought out plan of how to price, prepare, and market a house for sale. When we decided to list a house late this January, we contacted Joel again. He listened carefully to what my wife and I intended and was attentive to those details throughout the process. Then he listed it and the work began. No aspect of the transaction was mysterious or unclear to us. He communicated daily and updated us on everything that came up and acted quickly to resolve issues that emerged during the sale. The sale went through last week a mere 5 weeks after the listing went up and we were extremely satisfied about where we transacted. Today, a retired friend of mine said if I knew you were selling, I would have offered to help you, we could have listed it privately and saved you commissions. I said I'm so glad I didn't do that, Joel was more than fair in his approach to commissions, but, what is even more important to my wife and I, we feel he earned every cent of his commission because of the hard work he did before, during and after the sale. There is no way this transaction would have gone a smoothly and quickly as it did if we weren't with Joel.
