I live in Alberta and was helping my mom with the sale of her home in Regina.

I have worked with several Realtors in Regina over the years, with past investment property purchase and sales. And I recently tried out a couple new Realtors that were friends or referred to me by close friends and family. Not to throw anyone under the bus, but to give some honest feedback, each felt a bit lacking with basic minimum standards of service.

I spoke with a Realtor friend and asked for some staging recommendations for my mom's house - I had mentioned my desire to stage the property multiple times and now it was time to move forward and get on it. He didn’t know any stagers and didn’t feel it was necessary in his business model. That's fine, but for me, my spidey senses were screaming. I know the power of staging and my moms house is around 100 years old and needs all the help it can get for new viewers of the property to see its charm and not just completely dismiss it.

I knew I needed to slow down, step back and call a few new Realtors and just get a second opinion. Well, that felt over whelming and daunting and so I changed gears and decided to look up Stagers in Regina and start there instead.

I found a stager I really liked that was totally aligned, Erica, and I asked her if she had any real estate recommendations. She did and sent them over promptly. She said these were the agents she would go to personally if she had a property to sell. 2 out of the 3 were going to be a fit and so I reached out.

Kaitlin didn’t waste any time, she met my mom at the property, did a walk through, and sent me info within a couple days. Kaitlin valued staging and included a consult with a stager with all of her listings, she provided floor plans and videos and professional marketing, and this really spoke to me. She was treating this little old house with the same care and attention you'd expect for a high end listing. This went a long way for me, and my mom, and really made us feel comfortable.
(I did have the other Realtor come out and see the house and chat with us, but she really did treat it like a tired old house and left us feeling deflated and really nervous.)

Needless to say, we went with Kaitlin. She worked with me on price and gave me direct honest feedback when she thought my price was too inflated, while still having empathy for our situation.
If I needed a handyman or a plumber - she had great recommendations, and they all turned out to be super kind and competent workers as well.
We listed the house, and she arranged an open house the first weekend. We received competing offers on about day 5 and had a firm sale in 2 weeks, with a quick close. The entire experience was wonderful and smooth. She kept us informed at all times, responded quickly to our questions, treating us like a priority always, and I just can’t say enough good things about her. She helped my senior mom feel comfortable with electronic signing, sitting with her in person the first time she tried it (something I was not able to do a province away). She is personable and has a calm demeanour and I’m grateful our paths have crossed.
THIS is how real estate is done. Regina is so lucky to have Kaitlin and her team.

Kaitlin, I thought I swore off Regina properties years ago, and after working with you, I wouldn’t be afraid to get into that market again.

Kaitlin is definitely a rare find. Kaitlin was awesome in giving history about certain properties and letting me decide what type of housing worked or didn't work for me. Kaitlin managed my price range expectations and was cautious not to go past the stated budget. I was very impressed with Kaitlin and would use her again for any future real estate purchases.
