We are a contractor who did work for Kerkhoff at one of their construction sites and they have not paid their bills for the services rendered. If someone from the company could please give us a contact person who we could speak with, that would be great. Our calls have been ignored, blocked and we’ve been given reasons (how Kerkhoff is short of cash and awaiting more funding before they can pay contractors) before they can pay us.

We purchased a presale condo in One Water Street and were excited for it to finally be completed. There were so many deficiencies which are common with a new building (actually nowhere close to this many) but how they handled them is my reason for 1 stars. The fridge and dishwasher looked like they were from a dent and scratch sale and the panel of the fridge door was glued back on with the glue visible. One window opens (well actually doesn't open over an inch) into the deck railing and I am shocked they missed this during construction and is another display of lack of quality trades people who oversaw this project. Closet organizers were installed backwards, floors scratched and they refuse to fix or repair most of the things. I now have had to go through Travellers and although we had no access between initial walk through and possession any damage noted on possession is not being covered since it wasn't noted on walk through. If they would have fixed everything as expected and to a decent standard I wouldn't be an unhappy customer and would have purchased a unit in One Varsity for a rental/investment since they would have fixed the shoddy job initially done but how they handled the post completion issues I will steer clear. I've emailed the company this review before posting it and had no response.
If they come to their senses and provide proper customer service and fix the garbage quality work like a quality, reputable company should I will update my review. Until then I don't recommend purchasing in a Kerkhoff built development. See in photos the only opening window in the kitchen/ living area is in the middle of a balcony rail and cannot open. Too many other deficiencies to post all the pictures.

We purchased our townhome at Vista Green and have been consistently impressed with our experience with Kerkhoff. The construction took longer as expected (through no fault of the company) but we were updated on the progress frequently. We’ve dealt with our Site Supervisor, Johan, along with our Customer Relations Coordinator, Catelina, and both have been exceptionally professional, efficient, helpful, and friendly. At our pre-occupancy inspection, both folks were present and Johan (along with painter, Travis) immediately attended to the minor cosmetic issues noted. If the issues couldn’t be resolved at that moment, arrangements were made for the appropriate trades to come in quickly to resolve any problems. (This continued after move-in, as well, when Johan, himself, showed up to fix minor issues discovered.) Kerkhoff’s welcome package included all warranty information and instructions for use for each appliance, an individualized Homeowner Guide, City garbage/recycling pick up info, a touch-up paint kit, strata information - everything a new owner would need. Also received was a beautiful basket of charcuterie snacks. This was so appreciated after a long day of moving and unpacking!
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Kerkhoff company - particularly Johan and Catelina - for their professionalism, exceptional customer service, attention to detail and quality construction.
We are thrilled with our beautiful new townhome!

There aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe how terrible this builder is. We would never recommend anyone purchase any building related to Kerkhoff. Our experience has been awful from start to finish (and the entire time in between). The sales, construction and trades staff are incompetent, unknowledgeable, downright rude and disrespectful. It's been one of the most stressful times of our lives due to their poorly constructed project, combined with a complete lack of customer service, intellect and accountability. We have ZERO confidence in the quality of our brand new home that we worked so hard to purchase thanks to their complete lack of professionalism. Buying a home from this company feels like a never-ending 24/7 worst job of your life that you don't get paid for. Wish we could give minus 100 stars.

We have always had a great working relationship with all Kerkhoff team members as they take great pride in the work they do.
It's a pleasure to greet homeowners knowing they will be impressed when seeing their home for the first time. You can see the attention to detail that is put into each home.

This is the 2nd presale condo I bought, in One Water Street Kelowna. The other was from Ledingham McAllister (Escala in Burnaby). The difference was night and day with quality. LedMac was phenomenol craftsmanship, and hardly any deficiencies. The ones that were there were easily and quickly remedied. One Water was and continues to be a different story 2 years later. Over the last 2 winters the heating system (which we pay $98 separately a month for, above strata fees) stopped working! For over 5 months in the 2021 and 2022/23 winter! And they continued to charge me for the heat we did not receive. Still have not received a refund.
We also do not have use of our pools this summer - both have had many construction issues, included one needing to be rebuilt!
Many, many deficiencies in my East tower condo. most were taken care of but there is still this sticky mess on my windows obstructing the view. The quality of craftsmanship was definitely NOT to the same level as Led Mac.
Just too many difficulties and indications that Kerkhoff cuts corners. Would be hard pressed for me to buy another building with Kerkhoff- unless they learn there lessons quickly!
