I have taken the family to Coles and Tesla Lakes three years in a row now and each year is an extremely special, peaceful time to get away from the rest of the world. The fishing is unbeatable and the scenery is amazing.

Have been booking with Ldair and going to Tesla Lake since 2002 in which I have only missed 3 years. To say Tesla is beautiful is an understatement, from the scenery, the call of the Loons, and the wildlife such as moose, bear, and occasional wolf sighting on the far side of the lake. Sunrise is great and the sunsets are spectacular. The only communication to the rest of the world is a satellite phone to check in with Nick at LDair daily. We have never had an issue with the wildlife, thanks to the site being well kept and clean. The cabin is very comfortable and all we need to pack is food, clothes, sleeping bags, fishing gear, and a favorite drink, don’t forget a bath towel and soap. If you want to go to the wilderness and be comfortable I really suggest getting ahold of Nick at LDair and making reservations.

My husband and I celebrated our 1rst wedding anniversary up at tesla lake. It was 4 days of fishing, skinny dipping and exploring. The lodge is beautiful with everything you could need. The lakes are full of a fish. We were very inexperienced and able to catch some really nice ones! I would reccomded boating to crystal lake, or the 'Northern Caribbean' as I called it, green water and mountians all around. Just amazing. To have all those lakes, mountians and beaches all to ourselves was so perfect. Nick and Brian were fantastic second time flying with them and won't be the last!
