The Lakeside Country Inn is a great choice. Stayed here several times and the service and accommodations have been excellent. Highly recommended.

The hostess Sophia was very helpful and gracious. It was a wonderful place to stay. Close to the spa and beach. We had access to the barbecue and a kitchen unit. I would definitely go back to the Lakeside County Inn. Units were clean and well cared for.

The rooms were very nice, have fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Most of it is in very good shape. Pillows were not very comfortable, and the bed was ok. The room was very clean, and for a small town, the Inn was better than most I have been in.

A very clean place to stay! Welcoming and helpful owners! Stones throw from everything in Manitou. We stayed in room #1. It was spotless, spacious and quiet. We loved the tables in front where we could hang out with our friends. We will definitely be back!

Four of us gals booked rooms 9 and 10 in the motel section. The rooms in the main building were still closed due to COVID. The proprietors were very pleasant, helpful and available if needed. We were very impressed by the cleanliness and how well the kitchenette was stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Tables and chairs in the courtyard were great for visiting, dining or playing games, even when it was lightly raining. The days were a bit cool so the proprietor asked if we wanted the infloor heating turned on. It wasn’t necessary, so we declined, but good to know for those very chilly days.||||One block from the spa, beach right across the street. Walking distance to the beachfront restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Country Inn and Manitou so much that it felt like we had been there much longer than we actually were. We’ll be certainly booking our gals’ mini retreat there again next year.

The location is perfect as it’s about a 5 minutes anywhere and only 3 minutes to the beach. We enjoyed the yard that had a couple of large patio sets, a bbq and lounging chairs. Available for rent are kayaks and SUPs so if you’re into that, check them out.

Good value and location - a definite recommend!

We have stayed at the Lakeside Country Inn several times this year. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, quiet and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, lots of fresh fruit and homemade breakfast breads(the Mango bread is incredible), steel cut oats and local jams and honey. There is an outside picnic area with bbq. Very affordable option, especially great when attending Danceland!
