Great building, fabulous location, clean, well kept and very quiet. On site management is prompt, attentive and available; Rose and Ted are great people and mange a great location at the Lancaster. If you are in the rental market for an apartment in Welland, this location needs to be on your list!

We have settled in quite nicely and have adjusted to apartment living. We have met many people with whom we have exchanged ideas and have come to know the different backgrounds of many of the other tenants. We have forged friendships and have a sense of community.

Selling our home and moving to Skyline's Lancaster Apartments was the best thing ever. We love the amenities, especially the common room. In suite laundry is a great bonus. We love that we are just a short walk from all the city's amenities. The past year has been the best year of retirement so far. We are looking forward to another great year with the many friends we have met here. Thanks Skyline.

There are some outdoor spaces for those who need to smoke and residents are gladly complying with the new arrangements! We are changing our rating from 3/5 to 5/5! Well done Skyline!

We would love to give our new home (160 Lancaster Dr., Welland) a 5 star review because the units are awesome, the views are great, the staff is wonderful, the building itself is always clean, the elevators run smoothly and seamlessly, parking is never an issue, it’s quiet, garbage/recycling & composting are clean and efficient, and the community room & outdoor shared space is wonderful!
The only problem we have encountered is that smoking seems to be permitted for tenants above and below us.
This means that on a beautiful & breezy day, we aren’t able to keep our windows open to enjoy fresh air and the few months we have of summer, as our unit fills with secondhand smoke - too dangerous for our lungs.
We have also encountered cigarette ashes on our patio chair cushions, as well as cigarette butts on our balcony (fire hazard?).
This is our only complaint about what should be a 5 star accommodation.
We were hoping this wouldn’t be an issue since the lease doesn’t allow smoking on the property, and Skyline advertises that they are smoke free. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any way for Skyline to live up to their smoke free building promise. It’s the only downside to living here.

Transitioning from a home to an apartment was a daunting task for us in the beginning but now, its home. Skyline Living is more than just a place to live. we enjoy access to a gym, social room and stunning outdoor patio. In my opinion what makes it for me is our building manager Rose. She is never too busy assist us newbies.
She's helped in so many ways, too many to mention, but one in particular stands out. I lost the key to my storage locker and did'nt know what to do. Well, Rose did'nt skip a beat, she went to her own storage locker and brought out her personal lock cutter.
Yes, a big bolt cutter and even showed the maintenance guy how to cut the lock with ease. She's why we're still here and we love our apartment too:)

Thank you for the plans to fix my patio screen. I have been asking for 2 new cranks to open my windows. Also my entrance door requires a paint touch up. I trust this can be done in the future.

Just a side note: Rose works as hard as ever and is always responsive. The tenants are wonderful, friendly nice poeple.

Moved here one year ago just love it. We have great people living here. The building is well kept. We have everything at our finger tips because of the mall. Just don't have outgoing mail. Wish we can get that because of the more elderly people living here that cant get out in the winter time. My husband and I call this home.
