Everything from this builder is poorly made and low quality. There’s constantly something going wrong — and now 7+ days with no AC during a heatwave, with indoor temperatures over 30°C. Duke Management is incompetent and unhelpful. I genuinely don’t understand how this building passed inspection. Total failure. #ArtistAlleyCondos

This is the worst Builder I have ever come across in Canada. Every loop hole in the system abused by this builder supported by their eco system covered by lawyers. Never purchase any real estate property developed by this builder. If you buy one expect cheap/very poor quality of workmanship, very poor customer service within warranty, no timeline of completion of project and increase your carry cost by at least 6% (that's their inflation in Canada) every year so if your project completed in 6-8 years then it's increased by 50% when you have final closing. Doesn't deserve even 1 star. BEWARE of malignant practice followed in REAL ESTATE industry.

I've lived at 50 O'Neill for over a year now and I'm really happy with the condo so far. The sound proofing is great and i barely hear my neighbors. The materials of the flooring and counter tops are above average quality and is holding up well after a year of use.
I've lived in 33 Singer court by Concord before and it was the worst workmanship/design. I could hear my upstairs neighbor when he went to the washroom! So this was definitely a step up.

Bought 50 O'Neill in 2016, interim closing in 2024, finally closing in 2025. Paid almost $3100 a month during interim for a small 1+1. Worst part you doubled your maintenance fee from 0.54/sqf to almost 1 dollar for a brand new condo. I pay over 600$ a month now, just wow.

This is the worst developer ever. Everything from the sales people that sell their units to the development timeline in their contracts, the building quality and time it takes to complete anything, management, security. Literally everything is abysmal, do NOT purchase from this developer. Upgraded finishes like marble were broken and just glued back together, an entire door frame not installed not touching the floor, toilets not caulked properly leading to leaks. Building still incomplete almost 3 YEARS AFTER OCCUPANCY! No amenities open besides the gym (3 years after occupancy). They literally do not give a damn.
UPDATE: 5 years later and still no pool/spa amenities because they did a bad job building it so it has to be re-done. They JUST opened the party room and just finished the stairwell that connects the amenities so now you don't have to take the busy elevator one floor down. Again, just a terrible developer.

Everything is a struggle. Everything. I’ll write a review later but let’s just say the en suit bathroom has grey shower tiles and beige tiles on the floor. It looks like something picked out of the clearance section that you might put together for a basement bathroom. They sell you on “luxury” but having lived in luxe condos before and even ones that just claim to be high quality, this is not it. The cheaped out on EVERYTHING.

If you are condo hunting, avoid buying from this developer. Bought a new construction condo from Lanterra and i am still mind-blown on how poorly everything was built. Not sure how they passed inspections. The newly built condo had a massive water burst flooding multiple floors and causing massive damages to the elevators.

Also, AVOID renting with Whitestone Rental Services. The people there have no idea what they are doing and will not do their due diligence before providing information. You will save yourself lots of time and money renting by yourself.

Terrible property management service.
Duka is an absolute GARBAGE excuse for a property management company. After living in our BRAND new rental unit since January, we were unable to lock our door and had to call a locksmith. We called management to find out what to do as the condo was only 4 months old. They advised us to call the Locksmither's as they have a contract with them. No problem. The locksmith was dispatched and we were told (by management) that it was our responsibility to fix the door although (and get this) the Locksmither said that our door was misaligned with the lock plate - a deficiency by the builders. He gave us an invoice and apologized but noted everything in our invoice so that we could get compensation. Fast forward almost three weeks now, and Duka has done everything in the power to not respond. The failed excuse for a manager TIEK MARSH did nothing for us, and said he was handling our issue only to find out that he went on vacation before doing anything or notifying anyone. He also said that they moved from one floor to another with their management office and would have no access to email or phone for an unknown period of time. Does that mean these employees sit there staring at the walls and do absolutely nothing? At that point, his out of office had a contact for his boss MIKE NANI who has promised us over and over again that he will get us the information we need and has not. In the past two days we have called multiple times and are now getting ignored. Everyone should get fired and this company liquidated for being absolute GARBAGE.
