We have lived here 5 years this year and have seen a lot of positive changes and a lot of hard work put into the upkeep of the buildings by Anne and Scott. They make this place feel neighborly by staying involved and being compassionate. They don't make you feel like a bother when you bring them maintenance requests. They are accountable people and it's a pleasure having them as the folks who look after our home.

Been living here for a while and while it does have quirks, the community is pretty nice and the building staff are friendly and attentive. Anne and Scott who deal with cleaning/maintenance are very good, super friendly and extremely helpful. Our new building manager seems to be growing into the position well.

The building can be rough around the edges for sure, but overall I think thebstaff and residents have gmdone a good job at fostering a welcoming community.

Realstar should consider hiring environmentally friendly Landscape Company. Far too much pollution and the NOISE....for 4-6 hours

Just moved in about 3 weeks ago. I moved back to BC recently and Sibel was amazing as I was looking at places to move into from a different province. She took actual pictures of the suite I was enquiring for. Love the fact they have a 500$ damage deposit as moving expenses can get pretty pricey so not having to pay full rent for a damage deposit is very helpful
The grounds are so clean, the tenants in the building are very friendly as well as the maintenance staff. Inside the building is also very clean and I feel safe with the security cameras they have in place. There's also a pretty decent gym so no need to pay an extra fee for a gym membership and the laundry room ( I was upset there was no ensuite at first) is convenient and I get 4 loads of laundry done in a little over an hour which is great. Needless to say I don't miss my ensuite washer and dryer any more. The buildings are pet friendly and they also supply poop bags and bins to dispose of your dog waste! Brilliant idea!! Thank you glades for being my new home😊

If you're new to Langley City and looking for a good balance between price, space, and quality, I definitely recommend checking out Glades on 55 (Realstar).

The building itself is older, and you can tell especially in the hallways — the carpets and wall colors could use a bit of a refresh — but don't let that discourage you. The real highlights are the inside of the units, which are nicely renovated, spacious, and feel very comfortable for the price you pay.

One of the best parts about living here is the building management team. Anne and Sibel are wonderful — always available, friendly, and ready to help with anything you might need. If they ever can't resolve something right away, Scott will step in and make sure it's taken care of. You truly feel supported as a resident, which makes a big difference when settling into a new place.

Overall, Glades on 55 is a great option if you're looking for a welcoming, affordable, and well-managed home in downtown Langley!

I moved in to this building a year ago, super impressed with how clean the building is, Anne is a great cleaner and is always helpful. Scott is the best when it comes to maintenance. We have new management Sibel and Hakan, who have helped me in a very quick and professional manner, and kind. The building is in a great area, where so much is within walking distance. Highly recommend this building.

When my friend passed away last year and we had to clear out his apartment, Leigh Ann and Scott were very helpful and understanding. More recently Sibel was very helpful in resolving an outstanding administrative item. Management made an unpleasant task much more bearable.

I lived here for 3 years before having to move away due to horrible cockroach infestations. I kept my apartment so clean but the bugs kept coming in from other units, the storage rooms, laundry room etc.. we had exterminators come through our home all the time to bait and trap and they told us that the infestation was horrible and was never going to go away as it was in the walls of the whole apartment building.. do not move here. If the bed bugs and cockroaches inside your home aren’t bad enough, the homeless/drug addicts that shoot up on the street outside will be enough to make you uncomfortable. I’ll attach a photo here of a cockroach on the wall in the hallway.. gross! Stay far away from this place.
