I don't know where to start. We as family rented a house from this company in Alton village Burlington. It started with problems from day one. First, on the first day of signing the contract they raised the price of the rent by $100 saying that it is a security monthly fee that was not posted on the rental post and because it is a short term so they wanted extra eventhough it was posted short term from the beginning.
Two, for almost 3 months we chased them for deficiencies inside the house and there were leakage every where in the house. This raised out water bill by almost 50% and they never compensated that.
Three and final, after we gave them notice almost 60 days of leaving the property they refused to give one month they charged us that we didn't live in the house for. They basically stole one extra month from us.
We totally advise not to trust this con builder. I can imagine what other clients go through with his properties.
We basically going for legal dispute with them if they didn't return our money.
Total punch of crooks and they deserve to be legally punished

Amazing company, with the most useful and reliable staff. Adeena T helped me to find a property that was suitable for me and my family in a very short amount of time. I felt very respected throughout the whole process unlike how I have felt in the past with several other companies and realtors.

I found one of their properties being listed through Kijiji in March of 2023. I contacted the listing Representative, Adeena T., initially via text to inquire about the property & received no response. I then decided to e-mail her through Kijiji's messaging system a few days later. I received a response a WEEK later stating that she could show the property the following week. I agreed. She asked me for my phone number & e-mail, which I gave to her. The day prior to the showing, I contacted her again via Kijiji's messaging system to confirm. I received no response again. I then called her the morning of the showing & I was surprised that she answered the phone with a 'hello?' as opposed to perhaps the company she represents (L.J.M. Developments), but that’s besides the point & she did confirm the showing for that evening. The message I sent to her the day before, she finally responded to it & reconfirmed the showing. Approximately 3 hours prior to the showing, she messaged me via Kijiji's messaging system with a message that read, "Hey, unfortunately I have been feeling sick & I am leaving work early. Can we please reschedule this meeting?" Notice there's no apology for the inconvenience caused? Who in a professional environment greets with 'hey' especially to a potential new Client?! She also had my number & a phone-call rather than a message through Kijiji would've also been more professional. I can understand things happen & when they do, the offending party usually apologizes, especially when it causes inconvenience to someone else--not this individual. I responded saying that was unfortunate & to feel better soon. I also asked if she'd be available the next day & if not, perhaps the following week. Yet again, I received NO RESPONSE! UNBELIEVABLE! The listed property was also removed from Kijiji not too long after she sent me her last message of 'feeling sick.' The whole charade was of complete b.s. & nonsense with no respect & poor customer service. I would NEVER deal with Adeena T. & this organization again! As a matter of fact, had I seen their several poor reviews prior to the start, I wouldn't have. HORRIBLE FIRST IMPRESSIONS!

Update: Received a response from Natalie apologizing for the said experience above. If this update reaches you Natalie, you should know the aforementioned individual reached out within moments after this review was posted interestingly enough & made EVERY FACTUAL DETAIL explained herein personal. In fact, she went as far as to say, among other things, that she wouldn't show the listed property UNLESS this review was removed!' WOW! What is this nonsense--grade-school?! Customer Service at its complete WORST! You want a better rating?! LEARN BASIC & EFFECTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & DON'T TAKE DAYS/WEEKS TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES! The point of a 1-Star review is to identify a problem/problems during an experience/interaction so it can be resolved NOT make it worse--yet somehow this individual has done EXACTLY that, which further proves my point! The 1-Star is even too high of a rating & a ZERO would be justified.

Finally, she said she was doing her 'best' & goodness, if this behaviour is her 'best' I can only imagine what her worst would be! I appreciate your follow-up Natalie, but I'll take a pass on dealing with your organization any further, especially with this kind of representation.

Builder has been unable to complete outstanding performance audit items on a timely basis on their Appleby Gardens development. Building was registered Apr 2017 and the Corporation is still fighting them today through the Tarion Warranty conciliation process. I am reporting as a unit owner incurring significant unexpected costs as a result of this drawn-out situation. If you want to be dealing with infrastructure issues for years after building completion, and a developer who doesn't care about addressing outstanding issues, this is your builder.

The sales team at LJM deserve a zero star if I could leave a 0. I have been calling and leaving emails no one is getting back to me . Even the receptionist not answering. I can already imagine the quality of service we should expect.

I was an original purchaser of the first phase of Waterview. My experience with this company and my penthouse unit was a nightmare from the beginning to the end in every way. I got out of there as soon as I could and never looked back.
