Lived in one of these townhouses along Royal Road as a child in the late '80s to early '90s. I have fond memories of the neighbourhood and home. I think it was before Boardwalk purchased the property, though, and I'm sure the area has changed significantly over the past 30 years. 😆 The neighbourhood was very walkable, and I remember walking to both my elementary and junior high schools while living there. I also made weekly walks to the Safeway down the street for a candy bar I bought with the loony I earned doing jobs for the neighbours. 😆 The area parks were nice and easily accessible via foot or bicycle. I don't know if the Confederation Rec Centre is still open, but I used to walk there and to Heritage mall regularly. Was a nice place to live. I also notice the rent now is less than my current rent for an apartment half the size in Florida (no views of the ocean in Edmonton, sadly). If they're still nice, then they look like a real deal.

Located across the street from the beautiful white Mud Creek Trails lies Lord Byron Tower 1 it's one of the best communities I've lived in I've been with Boardwalk for over 15 years I would never live elsewhere the staff is truly exceptional the community is tight everybody looks out and after one another the office staff, the landscapers, the maintenance team and the cleaning ladies all work together as a team with the community it's a very positive space to be in I feel very safe living here and my pets are all welcome which makes it even more important.
The buildings are all very clean there's no Rugrats we have very low crime rate there's lots of families and a lot of our community members get to know each other it's definitely a prize winning location.
Thank you to Cesar, Sam, Josh Glenn and the maintenance crew Rose my cleaning lady everyone you have become my family and I am for sure board walks biggest fan.
From my heart I truely love all of you.

Quality of townhouses: 3/5 - They are older and our particular unit had quite severe water damage from the previous tenants that had not been properly repaired.
Experience with the maintenance team: 3/5 - Their head repair man is great and always solved our issues quickly. Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience with the repair men sent over when our basement flooded. To the point we had to deal with it ourselves.
Experience with the neighbourhood: 2/5 - Expect armed cops to be in the townhome complex at least once a week. Our catalytic converter was sawed off our vehicle within the first 3 months of living here, it was parked right outside our townhome.
Experience with office: 4/5 - The office was pretty receptive to any communications and were easy to get a hold of and responded in a timely manner.

Overall we lived there just short of 3 years - I would give it a 3/5. Highlight would be that my move out experience went really smoothly and they were very fair in returning our deposit with no hidden fees.

I looooooveeeee being part of these amazing townhomes ! The staff is amazing and fix things pretty quickly and homes are verrryyy spacious . Specially coming from BC the sizes of these townhomes feel so much bigger.
I’m glad I am a tenant with them .

I lived here for just about 3 years. The neighborhood is fantastic and the location is convenient for driving or using transit. Lots of families here - the kids taking advantage of the green spaces makes for a lively community! 🙂

Sam was a huge help as we were making the transition to move! The maintenance crew and rest of the staff were wonderful our entire stay here.

Townhouses are very spacious. Staff are always available so no need to worry about emergencies during late hours. Kudos to the office staff and maintenance team as they are available when you need them. Close to parks, schools, and grocery stores so this is good for families who are starting. A lot of improvements are being done so you can see where your rent goes into. They are building a brand new gym and community rooms. I hope they can also house a daycare in Tower 3 so that it will be a complete package! 😊

For an mid class family it’s a good place to live. Building bit older but they maintaining very well.
My application work, done with Sam Baiju he gave good incentives as well move in benefits, was very helpful in figuring out good apartment based on our conditions. Also after move in he assisted in each minor issues and solved. I would recommend him if anyone moving in.
Overall I gave 10/10 with this 1000sq.ft apartment and fully satisfied!!
