We cannot recommend Lorie Farley highly enough! We are from BC, looking for property to retire on in Nova Scotia, and had Lorie as our buyer’s agent. We had never set foot in Nova Scotia before this. We had sent Lorie a list of houses that we had researched on the web, along with a list of our wants and needs. Ahead of our visit she called and got to know us a bit. Upon arrival she had set up viewings of several of the houses on our list. As we travelled about to each location, she told us of local history, the highlights of each area, etc. She is very knowledgeable. However, we were not finding what we thought we wanted. But Lorie took us to view a house that was not on our list, one that she felt would fit for us. And it was perfect! It met 36 out of the 40 items on our wants/needs list, it is in a beautiful area, it is a size of house and property that will work for us. And it fit in our budget! And we fell in love with it. Lorie has a strong intuitive sense of her clients and their tastes and needs, proven by how well we and this house fit. She is friendly and warm, and a hoot to traipse about the counties with. There were a couple of hiccups that she ironed out and solved successfully to our benefit, along the way insisting that we place any stress on her, and not worry ourselves. She arranged for a home inspector, lawyers, and water tests – and all within our very tight time frame of 5 days. She worked really hard, and was indefatigable in her efforts to make us happy.
