I have been seeking assistance from their managing broker, Tim Russell, since April just to get a fact on my closing day. But the managing broker not only forcefully hung up on my calls and added my phone number to the blacklist but also instructed the agents not to communicate with us. Furthermore, I shared the Real Estate Services Rules with him and requested that he follow them, but he has consistently ignored my emails. Today, I finally reached him through the company reception, only to be met with him shouting, "just go find a lawyer".

Would not recommend this realty to anyone.

Poor Communication and Lack of Response
Unfortunately, my experience with MACDONALD COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE SERVICES LTD. has been disappointing. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I’ve had no response from the realtor. It’s been frustrating not being able to get in touch, and the lack of communication has made the entire process difficult. I expected more professionalism from a company of this caliber. I hope they improve their responsiveness for future clients.

Worst experience ever… after a really sad and big disappointment I had on Saturday 19th Aug/2023. I booked a viewing for a place on Bowen Island with the real state Agent Mary Lynn Machado.

We was exchanging emails during the week to set up the viewing on Bowen and even a day before (Friday 18th) she re-confirmed the viewing for the next day. When we arrived at the place on time at 10:45 am, she was there but just to apologize that unfortunately “her real state agent forgot to cancel and we can’t see the place anymore” it was really disappointing for us, my entire family came with me just to see this place (my parents came all the way from Cherryville, BC. As they are supporting us with the purchase of our future home) I brought my husband, my 7 old month baby literally for nothing.

Our only plan in Bowen Island was having the viewing of this house and then come back to Vancouver. The fact that she just told us right at the moment and not even give a call or an email was a shock to everyone, how can something like this happened? It is unfortunate and disappointed the treatment we experienced and I’m sure if it’s an investor looking for a 5 million home something like this will never happen. She wished us “and amazing day in Bowen” but how? If our only reason of being there that day at that time is seeing the place.

Why the treatment was different for me and my family? Communication on during this time is something really easy, an email on the morning will avoid us wasting our time and bringing my entire family for literally nothing. Really Really Sad.

I am writing this review in hopes to finally receive some communication towards resolving my issue. I moved out the 29th of rental and did my inspection with David Wong. everything was fine and my original security Deposit was granted back to me. David told my former roommates to send me and my other roommate our portion of the deposit back the same day. As other tenants had moved in right after. At the time I was a bit confused with this because I thought it should be David to start with to issue me back the deposit and not go through my roommate. Regardless, there was an issue with receiving my deposit back from my roommate 1 hour after she sent it. I tried messaging both of my previous roommates and no response the very same day. Then I emailed David the day after regarding this issue asking for his help to resolve this issue and step in. After no response from MacDonald realty every day 7 days after I have moved out and the inspection was made still no deposit. I am frustrated by the lack of responsiveness and professionalism this company and their employees have provided me with. How can a property manager be this unresponsive. Extremely un professional
