The appraisal from macintosh was way off — they valued my home far lower than its real market worth, which I later confirmed through other assessments. On top of that, their fees were surprisingly high for the quality of work provided. Communication was minimal, and I felt rushed through the entire process. Not worth the cost or the frustration.

Appraisal way too low. Well below BC assessment and purchase price. Almost cost us the deal and had to hire another appraiser to appraise more fairly. Unhappy I had to pay again to get this done. Don't use Macintosh if you need to close on a deal.

BEWARE !!! This company is not looking for your business. There are better appraisal companys that are more understanding of market conditions. I had better results at 2 other highly referred appraisal companies. Don’t waste your money, especially if your in a jam. You will get screwed.

Easy to deal with, on top once they receive the appraisal request. Handle any type of appraisal request. Accepted by all Lenders, don’t need to keep paying for a new appraisal for different companies.

Sean from Macintosh Appraisals pulled through for me!! We had a rush situation due to the developer giving the appraiser only 3 choices of days to view the new build with very little notice and only ten business days to complete on the purchase. All appraisers that I've spoken to in the last few days are working on a 3-5 business day turn around time. Sean rearranged his schedule and worked through his lunch hour today to complete the appraisal today....SUPER GRATEFUL. I would recommend Macintosh Appraisals to my clients with no hesitation.
