DO NOT RENT HERE!! I lived here for less than a year, and dealt with more than anyone should ever have to deal with. SO MANY notices about bugs and doing an "extermination" every FEW weeks. On top of that, I had so many issues with the appliances in my unit that took FOREVER to get fixed. Laundry machines were frequently out of service, or only 1 machine would be working at a time. The complex itself was poorly maintained with mattresses, furniture etc being left outside, the building was disgusting. During my time there, someone had visibly tried breaking into my unit, leaving my door knob broken and it took close to a week to get it repaired. Needless to say, I did not feel safe and stayed elsewhere until my door was repaired. Management did not take this seriously, and brushed it off as if this is a normal occurrence? Covid hit, and I decided I was better off breaking my lease than staying in this nightmare of a building. I spoke to a lady named Pushpinder, and she had told me due to covid that I was able to break my lease without paying a fee, mind you I was totally prepared to pay a penalty to break my lease if need be. Recently I had received an email from collections saying that I OWE money to boardwalk, after being told that I would not have to pay any penalties. I called Boardwalk and spoke to someone named Janice, who was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional who offered no solution and said "there's nothing I can do so you'll have to pay the fees" she was extremely condescending and when I asked to talk to a different individual she told me that I could only deal with her, she will not be transferring me to anyone else. SAVE YOURSELF AND STEER CLEAR FROM BOARDWALK ALTOGETHER

Lived there a couple years ago. I can confirm that all of the reviews about bed bugs and cockroaches are accurate. Their typical response of "not being able to find you as a past resident" is a total cop out. Their pest control measures are cheap and ineffective they essentially just chase the bugs out of one unit and into another and inevitably they always come back. The walls are riddled with asbestos and boardwalk doesn't like to spend lots of money. The staff are usually great, they are just limited by the corporate stakeholders above them.
