I have been staying at this condo for several years but the new snow removal company that MRC has hired is ridiculous. Residents are stuck in our homes since 15 hours and no one has come to remove snow. When we tried to take out our car, we got stuck badly and nearly escaped an accident. Been calling the property manager assigned to us (Justin) since the last snowfall (which was 5 days ago) and he hasn't replied even after today's heavy snowfall. Customer care tells us that the snow removal company can come but they don't have instructions from Justin. What kind of an excuse is this? You are playing with people's lives and taking such huge amount of maintenance fees every month for nothing!

None of our Property Manager return a phone call in a timely manner. Our last 3 property managers are no longer working here....We pay these people to take care of our condominium plaza and keep it clean. It's been two days and no one has reached out about any snow removal process . Slow services, maintenance is not done routinely. They provide rules to follow but nobody cares about them or follows them at all because they don't enforce them.

Where is the snow removal services we paid our monthly property management fees for?
We've had over 60 cm of snow in the past 48 hours.
We last saw the snow removal contractors on Thursday Feb. 13 and it is now Sunday 7:00 PM.
Can the contractors you hired to plow our snow at least clear our streets so we're not trapped? Most of us have cleared our own driveways, we just need our street cleared so we can safely get out of our townhouse complex.
I hope they're not fraudulently invoicing us for services which have not been rendered since Thursday. And their sub-standard services are barely worth mentioning.

Horrible service. They don't respond to emails nor calls. Streets aren't plowed until 2-3 days later. When they came they only did half of the job. Ridiculous. I am not emailing anyone anymore, you don't respond to emails.

I've been living in a flooded condo for over three months.

Apparently, no one really cares. This has been one of the most horrifying experiences of my life.

My floors have popped up. I have no baseboards. Management has been HELL to deal with.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Update: Since I wrote this review I have been left twice now waiting for workmen on my property. Faizan the property manager (whose name has been mentioned in another recent negative review) has been rude and unapologetic for not informing me no one was coming.

He also sent a "scope of work" out that was just a short list. I sent out the one from my insurance to show him what a scope of work actually is.

He continues to seem either uninformed or lazy. How he continues to be employed by you remains one of the great mysteries of life.

I have requested to speak to someone above him and his boss twice now and have yet to be answered.

It's almost 4 months now. This week will be the first time estimates on the damage are being done.

Saying you have excellent customer service, and providing excellent customer service are two separate things.

I've added photos of the damage and ongoing ant infestation I've been living with for almost 4 months.

Update #2- This would be hilarious if it wasn't my actual life...

Finally they sent people to get quotes for the damages. Apparently though it takes two weeks for the companies to respond.

The company they wanted to use Essential is awful.

They are the only ones to do any work on my condo so far, have seemed confused and disorganized which is why we demanded more quotes.

Well, their estimate came in $10,000 cheaper than the others. Lol Oh, and they left out an entire bedroom. They were the ones who ripped out my baseboards, but somehow despite coming here again to take a proper estimate forgot about an entire room.

And I'd like to know why the drastic price difference? Don't use them. I would not trust my condo to them.

Here we are though... Still no plans to get things moving any faster... No dates yet. School starts in three weeks and my kid with complex special needs is going to be dealing with school and our home renovation.

If it were up to me this company would be fired from my building. How Faizan still has a job escapes me.

Oh and at this point you'd think upper management would be bending over backwards to make this right but my emails go ignored.

As an added bonus, if my ex husband emails he gets a response. When I email 9/10 times Faizan ignores me. The sexism is incredibly frustrating.

He also accused me of filming him when he was in my place... So bizarre and uncomfortable...

Update Again :

More issues have been found now that renovations have FINALLY begun.

They are saying they don't have to pay for any unforeseen damages. Apparently we have to pay even though this is damaged due to flooding in the building.

I'm pretty sure it is illegal to refuse an insurance claim, so will be consulting a lawyer on that.

Please don't use this company. They are awful.

I'm now stuck in a position after almost 8 months of going to court to deal with this.

It’s been 36 hours and counting since snow has not been removed at 143 Ridge Road, Cambridge townhouse complex. Another snow storm coming this weekend. Snow has not been removed or common areas have not been salted for more then 3 weeks. Yet they take out payments on time per month for maintenance of common areas. They have not responded to our emails and have not made any effort to plow the snow. At 4:30 PM on Friday evening on Feb 14 we are getting email from this unethical company that there will be delays in removal of snow. Cars are getting stuck from past 2 days in the compound. People are frustrated beyond their patience, on top of that there is not accountability by this administration.

Maple Ridge, what do you consider timely and delay? What is your opinion of these 2 words and what is your service level agreements?

Had the pleasure of working with Cynthia Lake from Maple Ridge Community Management. I had some issues relating to setting up preauthorized banking and other computer issues. She was patient and very polite at every stage of the conversation.
She followed up with me even after hours sometimes to assure me that she would look into the issues and assist until we were successful.
