Terrible property management — avoid if you value your time and sanity.
I’ve rented two separate properties with Marandola Real Estate Management, and both experiences were absolutely horrible. Their response time for maintenance issues is practically non-existent — you’ll be lucky to hear back at all, let alone have anything actually fixed. The Wi-Fi in most of their units doesn’t work properly (despite being advertised), and when you report it, you’re met with silence.

The maintenance team might as well not exist. Requests go unanswered for weeks, if not months. You’re left to deal with broken appliances, leaks, and unsafe conditions on your own. It’s beyond frustrating — it’s negligent.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first bad experience, thinking maybe it was just that one unit — big mistake. The issues were just as bad, if not worse, the second time around. They clearly do not care about their tenants once the lease is signed.

Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. This company is a prime example of poor management and zero accountability.

Do NOT rent from Marandola Real Estate Management.
When our Wi-Fi went out during a scheduled exam, we contacted them for urgent help — and they flat-out refused to send anyone. Instead, they told us to use our own mobile hotspot, adding extra charges to our phone bills — which, of course, they made clear will not be deducted from rent.

Speaking of rent: it keeps going up, while the quality of service somehow keeps going down. Maintenance is non-existent, response times are abysmal, and they make zero effort to actually resolve tenant issues.

Absolutely unacceptable management. Please stay away — there are far better landlords in the city who at least pretend to care.

Long term tenant here: Team Marandola tried to evict us illegally last year. Lawncare is included in rent and they only come once a month to cut grass. I have submitted several requests for reasonable lawncare to which they respond back saying there is no issue. I have found ticks on my pet because of this and Team Marandola refuses to fix.

Wanted to book a viewing for a house for rent on kijiji and it said it was an easy application. Took 4 days of consistently trying to get a hold of someone through email and phone calls ( which is an answering service that relays the messages) and when I finally got an email back it was a phone number that's it nothing else in the email. Called the number and a numerous page application was sent that looked more like a purchase agreement rather than a rental agreement that wanted everything but your blood type. I wouldn't recommend trying to rent a home from this company as it is extremely difficult to view the property or even talk to someone. Very impersonal.
