Got the Mayfair Fever and just had to purchase a Mayfair Home. We went for the Moira One development after missing out on Linen Fields.
My partner and I decided to use Mayfair Part-Exchange program in which we traded in our property against our new home. Our family was able to stay in our home right up till completion of our new property, we also saved on temporary rental fees, estate agents cost and all the hassle that comes with buying a new home!!! I can actually say, I loved my home moving process.

If I could give zero stars I would. This company is awful and please note that the other 5 star reviews they have on here are from direct employees of Mayfair and their family members.

We bought a house from Mayfair (now over two years ago) and we are still waiting for snags to be carried out let alone get answers on why the spec they advertised to us is not what we got.

I have tried to communicate with Mayfair on a number of occasions and have been hit with extremely rude responses from Victoria. It is evident that she has been handed this business and not worked for it as basic customer skills and professionalism is severely lacking!

When raising my issues and concerns with the house, she blames everyone else but her own company for the shoddy workmanship.

The builders that Mayfair contracted to do the work (who they blamed for all the issues) were handed a contract again for another one of Mayfairs developments - words leave me at this point.

I am not alone in my opinion as every single person in my development is unhappy and have contacted Mayfair multiple times and have got nowhere. Even the management company who is looking after the development are in a headlock with Mayfair and won’t accept the handover due to Mayfair not holding up their side of the bargain and fixing the road. Again this is a major issue and one that Mayfair needs to sort!

Aside from the huge amount of snags and cosmetic issues like terrible chipped paint, house not cleaned for our handover, cheap doors and kitchen appliances. We have had faulty electrics, incorrectly and dangerously installed boiler (we had a gas leak last year). My 1 year old daughter even picked up a rusty razor blade in the garden and when I brought this to Victoria it was completely ignored.I later found more razor blades in the garden.

When I didn’t get anywhere with Mayfair after speaking to multiple staff I asked if I could speak to Don Patterson who owns the company however, I believe leaves it to Victoria to run it…they would not give me his contact details, which in itself is a red flag!

Mayfair over promise and under deliver it isn’t the other way round!

I don’t think anything has annoyed me enough to leave a business a bad review and the reason I have held off on giving Mayfair this review was my thinking that things could be sorted but that ship has sailed!
