If I were to write the number of ways these guys will try and scam you out of money or sell you something that certainly doesn’t work or doesn’t run, I’d be here for an eternity.
First, never consign anything with them. They don’t even open boxes and just throw it on a pallet and then take 50% of whatever you might manage to scrape out of there with. Tell me you don’t care without telling me you don’t care.
Also, expect that everything you buy will be end of life, not working, broken, and with vehicles, nothing listed in the description. They cover this by stating that everything should be viewed and fair enough, but don’t expect anything to be decent.
Apparently their latest scam is to sell something and not include half the stuff, tell you to call their office then never call back and do nothing. This is FRAUD.

I would highly not recommend bringing any household, electronics or smaller items for auction. They now want you to bunch stuff together on pallets which is terrible to show exactly what is being bid on then they double dip, taking $20 per lot even if it sells for less than that, they will also charge you a $20 admin fee on top of that as well. So for an example, say you bring for auction 10 lots and the auction ends and the value each lot turn out to be 100, 25, 25, 10, 10, 30, 5, 5, 10 and 15. Then they take the 20 from each lot, charge you the $20 admin fee then you end up with a measly $15. On top of that, they also charge the seller a 15% buyers fee as well. In the end of this example McDougall makes $270.25 on your stuff, you only get $15. It's absolutely ridiculous!!!! I would stay clear of bringing stuff here, any McDougall location, they all charge with the same structure. It used to be good before, now just a total waste of time! In my case, would have been better of giving it all away, instead of taking time off work wasting all the time and gas wasted bringing it in to sell. I don't need McDougall replying to my review saying "sorry to hear, call us" generic useless reply, I already called the office "to make this right" they said "sorry, nothing we can do" thats why I'm here. This is the treatment you give to customers who bought over 20k in auction purchases. I'm done, I'm taking my money elsewhere. Not buying absolutely anything or selling through McDougall anymore

Don’t buy from here, extremely unprofessional, they don’t inspect anything they are selling, I don’t think we have boughten anything from here that wasn’t broken/missing parts. No matter how badly you need something, find somewhere else to buy from, this place just isn’t worth it.

The Regina and Saskatoon locations have taken a total nose dive in the last few years with change of management / ownership. The reviews speak for themselves. You can only burn so many existing buyers and consigners before you will run out, which is what is blatantly happening now .
