The new home we just purchased from the people of McKee Homes exceeded our expectations. Leo in sales, Ashley in planning kicking off the full basement development we tossed in last minute, the home orientation guys who taught us how our home operates, and the site supervisor the McKee dedication and professionalism just hits different.

A specific mention to site supervision, whose role is incredibly challenging, we are always asking for just a little bit more or one more thing and he has been patient. His expertise and commitment to quality is evident in everything he does, and it was clear that he has embraced the culture McKee has created and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect to meet or exceed the standards the McKee family expects for their customers.

Everybody we spoke with during this process from realtors, mortgage specialists, and lawyer say they are all happy with their own McKee built homes. The communication from McKee has been clear and consistent, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. A breath of fresh air in an over stressed home building market.

Double check the cabinet doors - McKee will install unsealed cabinet doors that can't withstand the humidity and cleaning of a kitchen, bathroom or laundry room. In less than a year the cabinet finish will bubble due to moisture ingress - see attached photos. Any complaint to McKee results in McKee confirming its preference of "cost effective" materials over reliable materials and McKee will do nothing to rectify these abhorrent and low performing cabinet doors.

We are just wrapping up our 13 month inspection and touch ups etc. Was the building experience perfect, flawless, no issues? Absolutely not as nothing is...... At the end of the day, we had some issues (nothing crazy) and what made me decide to write this 5 star review is the ownership that Elaine takes and stands behind the McKee name. This is why they have been in business for 35 years and are Airdrie's builder. Our house is beautiful and we love it, our neighbourhood and community. We aren't moving for 20+ years (that is the plan anyways), but we would build with McKee again for sure!

We have built 2 homes with McKee homes in Airdrie and both times we have been thrilled with their customer service. From the time we met with the home planner to design everything, to the day we moved in, and the service after was all absolutely amazing. They are not the builder who will leave you "high and dry" after you move in. They do really care and if there are issues they will make things right. Highly recommend!

McKee Homes has been awesome! We have been in our home for over a year now and are still so happy with it as we were when we moved it. Their customer service is great! They really stand by their work and houses and make every effort to ensure things are done right. They build great quality houses. We've been talking with Rhonda and Andy on a few things and they have been absolutely wonderful. Very efficient and professional to deal with.

As a contractor, McKee is a great home builder to work with. I can only imagine how well theyvtrat their clients. The homes are built with extremely good quality. I have seen it from the "bare bones". They put the extra details into making sure they are above the rest.

Karen, our sales representative, was fantastic, super responsive and went above and beyond answering our questions. Grace, the owner, was extremely patient and available to us through the process. Mike, Chris, and Trisia, the folks running point on closing activities, were simply phenomenal and an absolute pleasure to work with.

There were other people from the organization that we came across, and everyone was just an A+ representative of McKee quality approach.

We absolutely LOVE our new home and will 1000% recommend McKee to our friends and family that are considering Airdrie as their next destination.
