We started looking for a house the beginning of 2021, just as the market started going nuts in Halifax. Michelle quickly became our dependable real estate agent. Even when we felt so discouraged after losing our first bid, she encouraged us. She was incredibly knowledgeable, which eventually helped us nab our house for less than 10% over asking in a market that most were going for over 20%. We only lost one bid which we thought was amazing in that market. She was incredibly responsive to our inquiries, even with a time difference. Michelle identified that the house that we purchased had a minor issue that may scare others but that we shouldn’t be afraid of; we bid accordingly to include budget to remediate the issue and we won the bid!
