Pros:
-Helped me sign for apartment remotely

Cons:
-Not advocates for people getting out of a lease to buy a house and start their life or even having a discussion about it
-No garbage collection bins for $1950/m townhouses
-No grass front or back yard
-Apartment is shorter than comparable apartments in area and Dieppe, yet costs more money
-Interior paint/cupboards seem cheap
-Expected to run a dehumidifier on your own dime to prevent moisture in basement that is humid

If you’re looking to rent in Westmorland county but you might be looking to buy in the near future, look elsewhere as they will not budge on your dates.

I have been working with Midtown since May 2024 and I wonder why I didn't have this great team managing my properties sooner. The team are effective communicators with me and our tenants. They are well connected to complete repairs and renovations in a timely manner. Their invoicing and payment process is clear and transparent. You get what you pay for when you rent through Midtown.

The prices go for a small percent below the average market, which is how we found and became interested in these properties.

The apartment we lived in looked nice enough at first, with a modern colour pallet, new fixures and utilities from Ikea, but the flaws began to show the longer we stayed. The rushed work was reflected with incomplete/shifting floor panels, cupboard doors that fell off because the wrong screw size was used, and no insulation on the internal walls, so you could hear everything your neighbour's were up to. The list goes on.

It was difficult to get a hold of anyone, especially when it came to asking general questions about rules and policies. We weren't provided with a copy of our lease. They were signed digitally, and access to view them was not provided 👍 All our requests to receive a copy were ignored or directed to voicemail.

All in all, not a terrible company, but the management team could use some improvement. There should be some leeway, or at the very least, case per case for a better tenant experience.

An absolutely horrible organization with little care or communication with tenants. will promise things which never occur (at least not without borderline harassment from tenants), skim everywhere they can, and have clear security issues they refuse to address. I have rented three apartments in my life, with both other landlords being amazing; I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new place to avoid them at all costs possible.

Responce: we moved out unexpectedly due to severe safety risks such as our cars being broken into and damaged and homeless people trying to break in - all that being said, the current tenant there (who asked you the exact same safety questions as we did prior to moving in) is currently living there with a chair pushed against the door every night as she is so concerned but when she brought this up to you you told her the same thing as you did us "there was never any safety concerns or issues" .. as for the "damage" we left that apartment spotless (with multiple witness confirming this) and you are claiming two damage blinds (which were always like that) cost over $500.00 to repair which is obviously absurd.. This review was simply to warn others to stay away from your rental units as much as possible as you clearly prey on the young student community which isnt ok.

Midtown Property Management has been managing my property for about 3 years, Martin has been professional and helpful. With his expertise he has provided helpful guidance when asked . Last year one of my unit flooded, my insurance company denied my claim, Martin ensured the right contractor was hired to do the job. He negotiated with my tenant, while the unit was being worked on. I have never had an issue with getting my money, as rent is collected and paid over in a timely manner.when I called or emailed Martin a response is received in a respectful time.I have no qualms in referring Midtown Property Management!
