This was by far the worst 2 years of my life. Complete misery! We couldn't get out of there quick enough. Landlords and property management are awful to deal with, nothing is their issue, never helpful, and have horrible attitudes. Try taking anything to upper management at realstar and apparently they are non exisitent including their customer care email. We tried for months to take our issues higher and never got anywhere.

In my 2 years we expirenced cops at the building almost 3 nights a week, people unfortunately ODing in the hallways which was so heart breaking to see and deal with.

Strangers constantly getting into the building due to the locks would constantly break leaving them usually knocking intoxicated on the doors in the middle of the night looking for a friend's apartment.

Sinks would always back up, no fan in the bathroom, elevator always broken, water shut offs weekly, fire alarms constantly going off. Cars getting broken into frequently including my own.

And again never once received any help.. and then was given a hard time while moving out with booking elevator as if it was to spite us and inconvenience us purposley because we had issues.

Just BEWARE.

Don't bother moving to this apartment or any of RealStar's properties. They are complete amateurs when it comes to dealing with their tenants. It's like pulling teeth just to get them complete the most simple of tasks. If it wasn't for the poor management this building would be amazing. It's in a good location and has nice updated suites.
However, simply because of the weak management it makes living here a nightmare when it comes to requesting anything. Especially when the super attendant's work very hard but managment is so slow to accomplish anything.

Hopefully someone in upper management will read this and start to do something about the lack professionalism in the management department.

I have lived here many years before Realstar bought this building. Realstar is the best thing that ever happen to this place. they have spent millions$ renovating to make things nice for all residents. the managers are top notch and really do care about residents, i dont think you'll find better managers anywhere. i'm retired and I dont want to leave this place.

Snotty witch who answered the superintendent phone essentially told me water leaking from upstairs was no big deal and "It's 10:30 at night". When I asked her what it is I pay rent for, she hung up.

David Landry

The landlords Elie and MJ and anything but lords. They make living there very difficult. They ignore the residents about repairs and lie to your face. Ive been begging for them to fix a moldy wall for months, "oh we'll get to it" is all they say.
Stick to your parents basement, I wish I could.
