My experience dealing with Minto for upgrades in my townhouse has been beyond annoying. It's absolutely absurd how they continuously shoot down any ideas with silly non-sense excuses, as if certain upgrades are somehow off-limits for townhomes.
- **EV Charging System:** Despite my willingness to invest in an EV charging system for my garage, Minto flatly denied my request, citing that it's not available for townhouses!! Yes, so what?! What is the issue of making it in a TH, you don't any resoanable answer!
- **Kitchen Cabinet Upgrade:** Wanting to enhance my kitchen with glass doors/shelves seemed like a reasonable request, one I was more than willing to pay for and i'm 100% sure they have it. However, Minto once again shut down the idea, claiming it's not available for townhouses. What does this has to do anything with Townhouses, again non sense although our TH kitchen size is bigger than most of their 30" singles and even if it's not what the door and shelves have to do with any sizing
- **Laundry Room Cabinetry:** The lack of cabinetry options in the laundry room was another disappointment. Despite seeing it in their show home, Minto stated that it's no longer offered for my townhouse model due to the size and depth of the laundry space in that model. B.S it done perfectly in the show home, but Minto is just annoying and lazy!
- **Mud Room Door Removal:** Even something as seemingly simple as removing a door in the mudroom was met with No, there's no option to delete a door in Townhomes. BIG B.S incompetent builder hiring incompetent contractors
You don't get except parrot-like repetition replies that doesn't make sense whether from a design or constuction point of view.

Minto Replied on my previous review with another parrot like replied basically a recorded message that make no sense what's so ever as follows
```
Our selections are always evolving based on feedback and are added or discontinued in response to customer interest, value and construction feasibility and/or availability for each specific model. As a quality volume builder, we ask that our homeowners choose from the list of available options, rather than custom or one-off requests, which ensures each selection is vetted beforehand to meet building code and work with the existing conditions, systems and design of the home. We do our utmost to convey the Flex Plans and options available beforehand
```
- "Our selections are always evolving based on feedback and are added or discontinued in response to customer interest" ----> So i'm a customer as well and purchased multiple homes with Minto for myself and other family members, so you don't get to set my interests or decide what i should have or should not have. You don't care about customer interests or any of that BS because we didn't ask for something that's not feasible or custom made. It's done in your show home for the same model and i know that many ppl asked for it but you just can't find an excuse for being low quality builder
- "As a quality volume builder, we ask that our homeowners choose from the list of available options, rather than custom or one-off requests, which ensures each selection is vetted beforehand to meet building code and work with the existing conditions, systems and design of the home" ----> You're not a quality builder. Minto's one of the worst rated in Ottawa (CHECK THIS FACT) and we didn't ask for something custom, everything is in your design brochure/options you shared with us, already displayed in your design centre you just can't find a good excuse for the non-sense you're replying customer with.
Having a nice Kitchen cabinet doesn't violate build code nor deleting a poorly placed door will in any sense but you know what violates build code it is building houses with poor quality insulations, poor finishing, delivery houses without detailed inspection, missing customer's requested upgrades and etc
