They’ve recently taken over the apartment building I have lived at for almost 15 years.

I believe it’s been less than a month since the transition between our previous property management to them, and it’s been nothing but great things.

They have quickly addressed so many janky issues I know my neighbours and I have had for months, even years.

Tina has been kind and helpful to my mom when she has questions/concerns. I hope they continue and eventually bring back the functionality and overall maintenance of our building, it’s really lost its touch these past few years.

Dealing with this property management company has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their attitude towards residents is as if they’re doing us a favor by simply doing their job. Instead of providing solutions, they often deflect responsibility or, worse, ignore concerns altogether. It's like speaking to a brick wall when you try to get assistance.

Simple maintenance requests are met with endless delays and excuses, and any attempt to follow up is treated as an inconvenience to them. Their customer service is non-existent, with staff often responding in a condescending tone, making it clear that they have no interest in helping.

To top it all off, they seem more focused on finding ways to charge extra fees rather than improving the quality of life for residents. If you’re looking for a property management company that respects and values its tenants, stay far away from this one. Their lack of accountability and unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

This management company only cares about squeezing as much money as possible from tenants, with zero regard for their service quality or the tenants’ experience. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that prioritizes profit over basic customer care. Avoid them if you value fair treatment and transparent communication!

Living in this apartment has been an absolute nightmare, and I hope my experience can serve as a warning to other tenants!
I moved into the apartment less than a month ago, and the management entered my unit without any notice under the pretext of an “emergency flood.” They sent a man who claimed to be a “plumber,” but he provided no real help. Instead, he left two notes—one saying “Do not use tub,” and the other instructing me to find my own plumber. Not only did this so-called plumber fail to resolve anything, but the management also completely shifted the blame onto me.
Even more absurd, they claimed they provided me with “three hours of service.” However, according to surveillance footage, the man only stayed in my unit for 12 minutes! During that time, all he did was inspect the pipe behind the tub, write two notes, and leave. Yet the management asked me to reimburse them $429, alleging it was for service fees and “truck expenses.” There was no truck or equipment used during the visit. The charges were imposed without any prior communication or consultation. The pricing is not only outrageous but also lacks transparency and leaves no room for negotiation.
When I tried to file a complaint, I discovered that the company has no proper channels for addressing issues, and no one is willing to help resolve problems. They used the excuse of an “emergency flood” and exploited the agreement tenants sign with the apartment to force me to pay this outrageous bill, even though their demands were absurd, unfair, and completely unreasonable.
This kind of lack of transparency, poor communication, and forced billing is infuriating! As a tenant, I feel my rights have been severely violated. Dealing with them has been nothing short of a prolonged mental torment. If you are considering living in an apartment managed by this company or working with them in any capacity, think twice before proceeding.

A recent experience with Monopoly Realty left someone I know deeply frustrated. Shortly after moving into one of their managed properties, they faced an unexpected and hefty charge. The reasoning? An alleged issue in their unit that led to an unannounced entry by someone claiming to be a plumber. This person only left a brief note before departing, yet the bill was for hours of work. Attempts to dispute it were met with indifference and dismissive responses. It's shocking how management could justify such practices, eroding trust and peace of mind. Beware—hidden charges and poor transparency are part of the deal.

There was leak in the first floor unit ceiling, sent plumbers to check. Found that the laundry machine was leaking which was on 3rd floor. The machine was not leaking despite that the flooring was removed to dry which i understand. Later the leak happened again in first floor unit. Found out that it was drain pipe from above units. I was charged for it as they still said our laundry machine did it without any proof and later i was told i will be charged again if we want the flooring to be put back in. So they are just here to shoulder off any responsibility on to residents although it was the building's issue.

I was referred to Chantelle Chhibba and we couldn't be more pleased with how she assisted us through the purchase of our first home. Would definitely recommend Chantelle to anyone purchasing or selling their home. She is friendly and takes the time to get to know her clients and understand what they would be looking for in a property.
Thank you, Chantelle for all of your help and guidance in the purchase of our first home!

I would highly recommended Monopoly Realty. I give them 5 stars, but would give 6 stars to Chantelle Chhibba. She is very diligent and will work very hard to sell your property. She was always available for questions or concerns. You will find her to be very knowledgeable and professional. She was excellent in communicating with me every step of the way. Everything was done long distance and I could not be happier with her service. I wish I had called Monopoly Realty much sooner. Thanks again!!
