Five stars! Every interaction I have had with the Mountain Country team has left me impressed. They placed great tenants in my unit. When the unit turned over, they found another great tenant in no time. They've recommended some maintenance to ensure my house is being well taken care of, and have left me with the over-all feeling that my unit is being well looked after. As a property owner with properties in three different provinces, I really appreciate the professionalism with which Mountain Country Property Management addresses challenging tenants! Some of these reviews point out the excellent work done by the MCPM team on behalf of property owners - even when that may be unpleasant for a tenant. We've managed our own properties before which really showed us the benefits of having a great company manage them on our behalf. Not living in Whistler, we find the staff at Mountain Country keep us well informed about our property. Our questions are answered promptly. It gives us peace of mind our property and the tenants are cared for.

Mountain Country has managed our property for over two years. I've found the communication to be effective, and any issues that arise to be resolved quickly and thoughtfully. Gina has been able to maintain a 0% vacancy rate, during COVID, and has continued to fill the unit with responsible tenants.

I have used Mountain Country a couple of times when looking for accommodation in Whistler. Each time i have found their staff to be very professional, courteous and answer questions i have had. We had an issue with one of the properties we were renting, and they dealt with issue right away. I would highly recommend using this company if you are looking for a rental in Whistler. I have dealt with other property management companies in Whistler and Mountain Country would be my preferred choice each time.

As a homeowner I have rented my home out twice using Mountain Country. I have worked with Amanda and she has been professional and responsive every step of the way. To date the tenants have been well chosen with no issues.

ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH !!!
BEWARE !!! I would never use Mountain Country again.
Only two tenants were to inhabit the property Mountain Country managed for me with no provision for additional tenants or sublets without my consent. Upon my inspection I found evidence of multitudes of renters inhabiting the townhouse. Not only did the bedroom and sleeping loft look to have a multitude of inhabitants, the tenants were making use of the sauna, the attic and a closet as bedrooms. Mountain Country claimed they had no idea this was going on in my property. They even admitted that they HAD NOT DONE AN INSPECTION IN OVER A YEAR!
Either Mountain Country was implicit in subletting my property without my consent which is criminal or they were just plain incompetent and negligent. Either way, it speaks to their lack of professionalism. Mountain Country did very little to help in the eviction of the “tenants” and provided no financial rebate to me for the fees they collected while not properly managing my property. To say I was unsatisfied with their professionalism and services is an understatement. BEWARE
