i was pleasantly surprised by this cozy little restaurant. the food was quite nice, pho broth was tasty, rice noodles not overcooked, and there was a generous serving of beef flank.
veggies were very fresh. the one quibble i have is that the grilled chicken pieces on my dish arrived cold.
staff was very courteous and the lady server was pleasant and friendly.
plenty of easy parking. recommended!

Stopped by on a whim and so glad we did!
This cozy, family-run spot is clean, welcoming, nicely decorated and serves absolutely delicious food. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth was rich and flavorful, and there was plenty of meat—super satisfying. We also tried the viet iced coffee, and it was fantastic. The service was warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we'd come back to if we're in the area again!

Small, cozy storefront that punches above its weight. Staff greeted me the moment I walked in, and the dining area feels surprisingly spacious, spotless, and decorated with charming Vietnamese village touches. The phở đặc biệt was the highlight—deep, flavorful broth with plenty of meat. Restrooms are clean, too. Easily one of the best spots for Vietnamese comfort food in Port Coquitlam.

Here in Port Coquitlam for a short trip, chilly weather so need to have a hot soup/pho fix. Great lean bowl of pho and the appetizers "a must have" recommending the wings and beef salad.

Noodles were perfectly cooked, and the first five minutes were the best time to consume it.

However, I noticed my pho was N8 (steak, tendon, and triple), which looked greasier than my husband’s N9 (steak, tendon, and brisket). Their bowls had a special herb taste, which is very special.

Beef carpaccio was the best dish today, and it reminded me of Phnom Peng Restaurant at Chinatown, similar taste but another level of fresh.

We used to like coming here because the quality was good. Not anymore.

We ordered trio dessert because it’s my wife’s favourite. This was the only pho place that did it right.

We asked for it to come out first. It didn’t. They were busy so maybe they forgot and I was willing to let that go. So I kindly reminded them and said we we’d have it to go.

When I went up to pay, I thought they forgot again but the server reassured me he was already making it. Great! He gave it to us in a plastic bag so we didn’t see it until we got into our car.

No shaved ice. And It was warm!

I almost turned around to complain but my wife said to let it go.

I thought about it. I can’t let it go.

I don’t know if today was just an off day but they’re getting 1 star from me and we will probably stop coming.

Mr. Pho nails the fundamentals.
The House Special featured a rich, aromatic broth and perfectly textured noodles — tender with just the right chew.

Generous portions of tender beef made it even more satisfying. Definitely a spot worth returning to.

Our absolute favourite Vietnamese restaurant! The food is consistently outstanding with super fresh ingredients. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive without hovering, and always happy to chat or make a recommendation. It’s a place that makes you feel welcome. I’ve eaten at a lot of Vietnamese places, and this one quietly rises above the rest. It’s the kind of restaurant you think about long after the meal is over!
