If I could give zero stars, I would.

We recently switched strata management companies, and it's become crystal clear just how poorly Pacific Quorum (PQ) was serving us. For months, they pretended to do work—making empty promises, dragging their feet, and offering bad advice that we're now having to unravel and fix.

Council meeting minutes were consistently late. Budget statements were delayed or incomplete. How can a strata make informed financial decisions when we don't even know what’s in the bank? It’s actually bananas how dysfunctional they were.

We started with Melody, who quit (smart move). Then we had Sam, who was helpful for a couple of months before also quitting (again—good for her). By the time Greg took over, PQ was already in complete disarray. We were told both their admin and accounting teams were overwhelmed—but being overwhelmed is not an excuse for failing to deliver basic services. When urgent issues came up, we were repeatedly told “we’re on it,” only to find out much later that they weren’t.

Homeowner concerns were routinely lost in the void. Emails would be sent to PQ and never passed along to council. It happened far too often. We eventually began interviewing new management companies and requested PQ release us from our contract. They did—and I strongly suspect it was because they knew just how bad things had gotten.

If you're considering hiring Pacific Quorum—don’t. Read Glenna Cross’s review. I agree with every word. You'd be better off self-managing your strata and saving the money. PQ has no business managing properties. They should honestly just shut down.

I would rate a zero if that was an option. If you are in a strata council, do NOT under any circumstances engage PQ Kelowna to manage your building. I have been on Council over a year and not once had financial statements even remotely on time. And every month there were errors, many of them big. Little follow up was done. It took 6 months or more sometimes to have simple corrections made. Arrears were allowed to go on for months and months and even when pushed, follow up from PQ was abysmal. And that doesn’t even count the complete lack of return calls, or emails answered. And the next Council meeting two months later often ended up prodding the same mistakes which hadn’t been fixed.

We complained to the managing broker since our PM didn’t understand the financials or do anything to solve our problems. He replaced our PM with himself and we hoped that would make a difference. The only difference it made was that he was charming and pleasant at meetings…while doing bugger all to make things right.

And so far our transition to a new company has been stymied by a lack of competence and cooperation from PQ in providing the appropriate documents and files.

I could list tons of other issues but if you can’t get accurate or timely financial information or trust the numbers…the other problems are far less important.

We have moved on from PQ to a new company.

Michelle Dennis was the property manager for a condo we rented for 4 years. She assisted us in first being able to rent this condo and was helpful, responsive, and professional in our dealings with her until we moved out. Even though she represented the owner she was fair and responsive in all our dealings with her. I have no hesitation in giving her a 5 star rating.

I feel compelled to share my experience with Pacific Quorum (PQ) Property Management to caution others who may be considering their services. Over the past year, my experience with PQ has been disappointing, to say the least. The issues stemmed primarily from a lack of accountability and professionalism among their team, including managing brokers Jenn and Greg, as well as our assigned property manager, Hardeep Grewal.

Key Issues Experienced:

Unfulfilled Commitments:

At the beginning of the year, we invited managing broker Greg Martin to attend a strata meeting to address ongoing issues with Hardeep. Despite agreeing to attend, Greg did not show up, leaving our concerns unaddressed.

Persistent Mismanagement by Hardeep Grewal:

Hardeep failed to follow simple instructions from the strata council. He frequently made false claims about obtaining quotes for critical projects and neglected to prioritize our building's needs. Throughout 2024, he consistently demonstrated a lack of preparedness and failed to perform basic tasks without constant reminders. Shockingly, he never once visited our building during my time on the council.

Financial Misconduct:
Since May, our strata has been unable to approve financial statements due to ongoing issues.
Hardeep repeatedly promised to review the financials but never followed through, leaving many questions unanswered.
PQ issued cheques to themselves without providing invoices. When pressed for documentation, Hardeep assured us he would provide it but failed to do so.

Lack of Support During Transition:
Following our decision to terminate PQ due to these failures, Jenn personally assured me she would oversee the transition. However, neither Jenn, Greg, nor Hardeep responded to our inquiries regarding financial statements and other outstanding matters.
These shortcomings, including breaches of our contract and violations of the Real Estate Services Act.

My experience highlights a pattern of negligence and unprofessionalism that has significantly impacted our building and strata council. If you are considering PQ as your property management company, I strongly urge you to conduct thorough research and evaluate alternative options.

Horrible communication from this company. Try to call as much as you want, you'll never get through to reception. You drive to their office location and there's a 20 year old girl just hanging out. Apparently no time for a call though, or to return any voice messages.
Finally get a card for the specific manager responsible for your building and that persons manager and leave both of them messages too? Don't expect a call back either.

Absolutely horrible experience and don't wish it upon anybody to have to deal with this company. I'm going to restrain myself for calling out specific names.

The absolute worst management company possible. Would give zero stars like other previous reviewers if I could.

If you're looking for the constant run around or wanting to be ignored by every managing broker (Greg and Jenn specifically) then this is your place. This company is being run by incompetent, unprofessional people who could care less about their clients and their needs.

Would never EVER deal with this company or recommend them to anyone.

Having owned several Condo's and dealt with a variety of Property Management Companies in the capacity of owner and council member. I have never had such a negative experience as with Pacific Quorum Okanagan. Greg Martin Managing Broker, and Hardeep Grewal should both be in another line of work. Their Communication and follow through with the simplest tasks are pathetic to say the least, bordering on incompetent. If looking for a Company to Manage your property, do your research . They have a low 3.2 for a reason. We have terminated them as of the 31st of December.
