I rented in here as a sublet and I was able to survive just on month. Rats, Zero proper ventilation, the building literally has got a shake when wind is high (especially top most floors). You have to wait tons to get in the elevator and the laundry is worst of all! Absolute madness to take up a lease here! Wouldn't even suggest as a temporary stay! Stay away from this property!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This building is a nightmare to live in.
• Pests: Mice and cockroaches are a constant issue. We had been gone for a couple of months and when we came back all bedding and what not have to be discarded as it was fully covered in mouse poop. We did not leave any food out anywhere but we had many many bags and boxes chewed through and ruined. The only saving grace is the pest control lady—she’s a sweetheart.
• Maintenance: Completely unreliable. The maintenance man is lazy and dismissive. When I reported leaking windows that caused water damage and ruined my bed frame, I was told there was “nothing they could do.”
• Poor Building Conditions:
• No bathroom fan, leading to moisture damage and cracked walls.
• Kitchen handles are cheaply glued on and break constantly.
• Closet doors never stay on their tracks.
• The “pantry” is a broom closet—had to fight to get shelves installed.
• Laundry Issues: One washer and dryer per floor, and the dryers NEVER work. I’ve wasted so much money on damp clothes.
• Security & Privacy: Management has entered my apartment multiple times without notice.
• Utilities: Power is through a private company, making it ridiculously expensive.
• Noise & Disruptions:
• Fire alarms go off so frequently that no one takes them seriously, and the fire department takes forever because they assume it’s a false alarm.
• Every December (during finals season), loud construction work happens outside the building, making it impossible to focus.
• Elevators: Always slow, and at least one is almost always out of service—don’t be in a rush, or you’ll be late.
• Staff: The woman at the front desk is incredibly rude and unhelpful.

Avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth the stress, the money, or the endless frustrations. We wasted so so so much of our money on just trying to live without having a mental breakdown in this place between mouse traps, steel wool, and even our own cocking gun.

My dearest suggestion for all international students, don't rent this apartments because they will rip you off with false charges when you cancel the lease, charging 3000 for a 4 year old lease in damages. It’s happening with everyone who is cancelling lease. So, better don't rent this place for your safety. Apartments full of rats.

An amazing place to call home. From the day we moved in as a family of four from the UK nearly two years ago, we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel we never left home.
The building is safe, secure, clean and has all the amenities you could think of.
It's also central to all that living in downtown Halifax has to offer.

The staff are always there and more like family than staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Josephine, Katelyn and Logan, always with a smile and a hello make you feel like you wouldn't be anywhere else and are always there at the other end of the phone or when we pop down to see them in the office.

Now with the addition of Stacey Bauer as the building manager who is a phenomenal lady. She listens to any concerns you may have as though they were her own and does not rest until she has resolved them.

No building is without minor issues, I have to be honest, but Stacey is on a crusade to make Park Victoria the best it can be and despite only being in the role a short time she has made incredible efforts in anything she see's that might even cause the residents the slightest of concern.

She is reassuring to the residents and a true inspiration to her team and has just made Park Victoria an even better place to call home 🏡.

Our family wouldn't be anywhere else !!

If I could, I would give a negative review. Very unprofessional property managers, even when you book an appointment, they keep you waiting. Booked an appt for 11.15 m, kept us waiting ( standing ) outside for 15 minutes. Very disgusting customer service and when you tell them it was unprofessional- they say “okay”. Idk why their managers don’t take action and talk with them. Highly disappointed and would never recommend this building. DISGUSTING! If any of the senior managers is seeing this, take action.

Weird rent schedules. Instead of every 1st of the month, their rent day changes every month. "Late rent fee", expect you to pay 7 days in advance so the funds arrive before their scheduled rent day. Rooms mixed with men and women, and no doors have locks. Rental pictures looks nothing like real life.

I have been in this building for a year, the location is perfect, the view is wonderful. I have never had a problem with heat, water, electricity... most of the staff are polite, kind and helpful spatially Sukh.
There were cockroaches in the first 3 months. However, after I bought 5 small poison bags from the mini-market that is on the ground floor, this problem has been fixed completely. As per to mices, several small holes in the kitchen wall had to be closed. Also, after doing that, the problem has fixed.

The most important thing is to have a kind and helpful staff, I started to notice that the new staff are more helpful and kind.
I would like to thank Sukh, she is very friendly, and she always does her best to help us with any requirements.
