Ever since I moved in, the management has been working hard- far beyond any other company or residential organization has. The General managers are absolutely sweethearts. The place is always clean, smells amazing, and it's clear that Management cares about their tenants and the enjoyment of the spaces shared! The decor for Easter was perfect!

Parkway Village has gone from Welland's most desirable rental location and a lengthy waiting list, to multiple vacant units with promotions of a month or two free rent with lease signing since new ownership and management has taken over.
Edit... it has now over 1 year since new ownership has taken over. In my personal experience, I would NOT recommend these buildings as comfortable, safe or clean place to live.

I have been a tenant in the 200 Denistoun building for 14 years and up until Equiton bought this building we had a great little community and clean building. Now, our laundry room is filthy, lobby is filthy, the machine for the cards in the laundry room are down too often leaving us with no way to put money on them and do laundry. We have staff that is not professional and very disrespectful. I am very much upset with the changes in here.

Equiton bought these apartment buildings over 8 months ago and there have been only 2 improvements done - the laundry room is open 24 hours and there is new lighting in the underground parking. Everything else has been one disaster after another. The common areas always look dirty and the place hasn’t smelled clean since last June. We have beautiful elevators and the pads that go up when people move in and out have been hanging since June. The pads are dirty and need to come down. And for that matter, the elevators themselves are dirty - the buttons never get cleaned and neither do the doors or walls. Management never seems to be around and when you submit concerns to the resident manager, the emails go unanswered. However, they do have time to have meetings multiple times a week. Yet nothing seems to get better here after those meetings. It seems like Equiton employees do not even know who the residents are in their buildings and they are quite rude when speaking to tenants or contractors. Snow removal was terrible this winter as sidewalks were not shovelled or salted until several hours after the snow event ended. The ramp to underground parking was cleared and salted once all winter which made it difficult to get up. I would not recommend to anyone I know to move into these buildings. We went from a company that had employees that treated their tenants like family to a company that claims on their website that they care about their tenants but in the past 8 months have not shown that at all.

September 8 2025. Haven’t had water for 8 hours and can’t find out when it will be back on. Equiton should take care of tenants ahead of shareholders. What a shame.

I moved in October 1st. There have been a few bumps in the transition of ownership, but a very well kept building. I am very disappointed at Equitons( the new owner) decision to relocate all visitors parking to the very back of the building. We all have family and friends visiting and arriving by car. They will have to walk from the back to the front door, with no walkway in all weather conditions. The prior owner laid this parking lot out for visitor and accessible parking in the front parking lot. I really hope this parking decision can be changed for the better of all. Would like a response from the owner on why visitors are at the very back of the building when they must enter from the front door. Plus 10 visitor spots for 96 apartments is definitely not adequate. I had family members here for Christmas that came in 6 cars from all areas of the Niagara peninsula. And there is no parking on Denistoun st. I would like a reply to understand Equitons rationale on the parking distribution
Regards
Daryl

Could you please revisit the parking situation at 220 Denistoun? Having all the visitors parking spots at the utmost back of our building makes no sense at all. Guests, PSWs etc must walk completely around the building to be buzzed in. Right now, in January....it's pitch black at 5pm..there is no lighting and inclimate weather it's down right dangerous and unsafe. Could we not have some visitor parking at the front.. or move the intercome to the back. Makes perfect sense.Thank you.

Well it has been 5 months since I posted the above review. Could you please provide an update on the intercome installation for the back door? Thank you.

We do like the changes that are being done, HOWEVER I do have to say and agree with others here, the carpets are not cleaned, and elevtors could be cleaned more frequently. Notices are not given out when maintenance is going to be done.
Regarding parking, I think our whole front lot should be designated handicapped parking as we do have lots of disabled tenants living in our building. AND I'm sure that we will eventually be charged for parking, but hope not. We also need the building to be more accessible for the disabled tenants.
I love the fact we finally received "card" use laundry and that its now open 24/7.
I also like to see that Brandon & Roxanne are visable.

Management is helpful, place is clean, tenants are okay.
Never met friendlier residential managers than the folks at Parkway.
