AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Horrible experience with the builder. Constantly blaming the home owners for problems in the house. The house started twisting, roof started lifting from the home, issues with insulation, broken window, window not opening safely, multiple air drafts in the home, bouncing and broken floors, and many of our neighbors have leaks in the home. This was all within 1-2 years!

It's better to pay more for good builders who don't make your life a living hell!

Podium has to be BY FAR the most difficult, underwhelming, unskilled, developer there is. They “forgot” to deposit my occupancy fee of $2500, a year later they’ve come looking for this money as they missed depositing the cheque which was given in August / September 2022. I have since rewrote them a cheque in the full amount, leaving it with a post dated date of October 7th 2023. They deposited the cheque without any regard for the date which was agreed upon by Adam, myself and Christian. Now this is not the first time podium of ironwood development has let me down. These guys deposited the cheque leaving my account low, my threshold of funds was below my accounts limits which is NOT how I keep my accounts etc. I was offered $250.00 for my “time” but really the $250 is meaningless to me… how does a huge company screw up time & time again. Are these people all first timers? Are they coming out of junior kindergarten and cannot read or write? This is people’s money, lively hoods you’re dealing with. I’m so sick of the I am sorry I am hearing this is a sick joke: if I could advise anyone… DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS DEVELOPER!!!!! It’s a joke. You will be taken advantage of, mistreated, undervalued and the list can go on.

Not the best experience. I closed a year ago and have paid all closing as advised. One year later they asking me for 2300 for fees because they made a error. Not to mention everything on was not completed smoothly and I have been going back and forth trying to have them fix a leak in property. I am very frustrated with this developer to be honest. I am very unhappy with how they handle things

I had a fantastic Podium Inspector, Adam, tour my new home with me in Oshawa. He exceeded all my expectations, including my families, didn't rush me, explained everything fully. He was very patient...very!!!!

They earned interest off your deposit. A miniscule amount but they still earned it. It's a scam. Don't give your deposit before signing with them. They take weeks to give it back.
