Disappointing Experience with Mike

I don't usually write negative reviews, but my experience with Mike left a very bad taste in my mouth. From the beginning, he was extremely difficult to reach--barely responding to calls or texts, which was frustrating given the seriousness of my move (a 3-hour relocation). Once I showed interest in the unit, he rushed me through the entire process, pressuring me to sign the lease without even allowing 24 hours to review it and ask questions.

I reached out with questions about the lease, but instead of responding, he abruptly cancelled the lease process, accusing me of being "disrespectful." In reality, I was simply being thorough and wanted to make sure everything was in order before making such a big commitment. His urgency to have me move in so quickly was very concerning and off-putting.

One of the biggest red flags was when I asked to adjust the move-in date closer to the end of the month to avoid paying double rent (since I had already paid for my current lease). He made this nearly impossible, despite me offering to pay the security deposit in good faith. After paying for the application fee and jumping through hoops, Mike didn't even give me a full day to review the lease--he sent it in the afternoon and expected it signed by day's end.

On a side note, I've noticed that Mike responds to many of his negative reviews here, always trying to fight them. But if you constantly find yourself defending bad reviews, maybe it's time to look in the mirror. Instead of arguing, perhaps he should reflect on how his actions are affecting potential tenants.

Overall, the lack of communication, the unnecessary pressure, and his overall attitude were very disappointing. I had read reviews about him before deciding to give him a chance, but unfortunately, I was proven wrong. If this is how difficult he is during the move-in process, I can only imagine how challenging it would be to deal with him once actually living in the property.

I was approved for a home that I was really looking forward to renting. Unfortunately Mike (Michael Couvrette) is the most unprofessional and rude individual I have ever dealt with when making such a life changing decision. I was approved and ready to sign my lease but he provided incorrect information, relayed information in an unprofessional manner, and took back my application because he couldn't explain what was needed. Example: I was at work and because I replied 2.5 hours after an email he sent me early in the morning, he stated that was not a timely manner. Whomever owns 1106 Dante Circle, I am a wonderful tenant and I will no longer be making that my home due to the Property Management Agency chosen to represent - Prime Locations of CA

We put a deposit down on 11626 Melones, Gold River in the amount $3345. Soon after our situation changed so we requested our deposit back from the property manager, Mike Couvrette. He never responded to our many requests. I do not recommend anyone use Prime Locations of California.

My experience with Mike has been very pleasant! He’s been very kind and approachable throughout this whole move in. He was very responsive, answered all of my questions and went out of his way to make the place look nice and updated. There was a hiccup with one rental verification and he was understanding and worked with me! Thank you again Mike!
