We found out about Properly from a CBC post and are glad that we did. After contacting properly, the entire process of selling my house was done very smoothly. It is specially praiseworthy because of current economic conditions in Calgary. We, as sellers, were guided at each and every step of the process very efficiently. I discovered Properly by chance. I submitted a estimate through their online application site. From there you will be contacted by a lovely representative. My dealings with the company were 100% positive. What they say is what they back up. I was a bit hesitant at first due to the seriousness of selling a house and the money at stake. Again, they lead me through the process via email and by phone. In the end my house was purchased by them at my pace. It was quick in my case and I didn’t experience any dishonesty or fine print surprises. They are 100% honest and professional and the process was extremely easy including using their contracted lawyer upon my request. My experience with Properly was great. I was a little hesitant each step of the way given that this was a company that none of my friends or family had used before and was a different way of selling a house. That being said every step of the process was extremely smooth, straight forward and exactly what they had prepared me. Properly gave me the exact amount a realtor had suggested we list the home for. This saved me having to make the house spotless, do the fixer uppers and the staging that had also been suggested by the realtor. The stress that this saved me from doing all the prep work and having my house sit on the market was huge. All of the staff with Properly were extremely helpful with all questions, concerns and inspection. I used their lawyer as well to save some additional costs and felt very well informed and represented in the transaction. I highly recommend using this company.

After discovering Properly we did the quick online questionnaire and within a couple of days, we had already been given an offer which we were given plenty of time to think about. Incredible experience.

My wife and I welcomed our second child late March, and decided to put feelers out to see how our house would do on the market. We felt our current house was too small for two small children and a dog, but the thought of cleaning the house and getting everyone out for showings in a bad economy was overwhelming. We filled out the form on Properly website and we had an offer the next morning. They asked for pictures of the property which I did with my cell phone over the weekend and had a final offer within a few days. That's it. Honestly, I can't express how happy I was with our experience. I was hesitant at first because it is a newer company, but so happy we made the switch. We were with another realtor of a larger well known realty company; casually looking for a while (couple years) but it didn't seem to get us anywhere. We decided to speak to Michael Montgomery to get some advice and see what else was out there. Within a month, we listed, sold and bought our new house (we sold within the first day of listing).

Properly provided a staging consult, and a handyman to get out house ready for the showing. It was a HUGE life saver, and made listing/selling quickly possible.

Michael was on top of things. I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable and quickly understood what we were looking for AND found it for us. There was a clear line of communication throughout the whole process. I couldn't have asked for it to be any easier or smoother.

There is a buy before you sell program which Properly offered to us but we didn't need to go that route since we sold and purchased on the same 😁. they do get a higher commissionn with the program since they take a risk, but it's worth looking into. You should definitely ask about it to see if your house qualifies.
