My wife and I just recently rented and are now living happily in a property in Surrey, at Edge townhouses, using Quay Pacific Property Management with Chen Xu. He and his organization have been an absolute delight to work with. Chen went above and beyond to set us up with the showing of the rental and getting everything that we needed set up and finalized within 48 hours of us signing the lease. We had the keys to our new home by the following weekend for us to be able to start moving in early. Thank you Chen and the team at Quay Pacific, we're so happy in our new home and neighborhood.

I am not surprised to see such a low rating for this location.
A simple task, paying a depisit and fee for an amenity building:
I’ve been here 3 times in the past month or so.
The first time, the receptionist (same girl all 3 visits) has 0 clue in regards to why I’m there, or what needed to be done. She pulls someone to her desk to help, she’s constantly calling me ‘he/him’.
I am a cis gendered female. I tried to correct her, it didn’t seem to matter to her at all.
The second time, I had to wait around, receptionist clearly unsure of what she should be doing to make this simple request quick and efficient.
Now the third time… I am asked to sit down as they’re having issues with opening their safe today. She can’t open it. She can’t provide me my deposit.
So not only did I drive 40 minutes from home, waited about 20 minutes for her to give up, I am now left without my deposit and hoping they’re able to form a cheque and send it to me within a timely manner.
I mentioned how unimpressed I am from the first visit, she thought it would be a great idea to argue my points and roll her eyes rather than apologizing as I walked out the door.

Our townhouse complex has been with Quay Pacific for nearly nine years and we have had Chad Hutter as our property manager for most of that time. As a member of the strata council I've had the opportunity to work closely with Chad and find him to be very responsive to our enquiries and experienced in providing us with advice. He has gone above and beyond to meet the needs of our council and owners on numerous occasions and our meetings run very smoothly due to his organized and personable manner.

Simply the worst strata management company existing in the lower mainland. My strata's council voted to get rid of them and I was never happier. Ever since my building's been with FirstService, calling the management and dealing with my problems are so much easier and makes much more sense. If you see these clowns as management, run away from buying properties. If you already have them, fire them ASAP.

Our Strata has terminated our contract with Quay Pacific after ten years. This only happens because they are so terrible that the owners chose to get together and vote them out unanimously. Years of ignoring emails and our concerns, while raising their cost of everything again and again made this decision so easy.
Oh and did I mention they also changed our property manager all the time. A revolving door of people who just take your money and ignore you. We actually had a property manager who ignored us for almost an entire year, and after every complaint possible, they finally fired him.
Best of luck to anyone who uses this company.
Read the negative reviews...they're all based around being ignored. Could not be more true.

A management company that does not manage.
My family has been living in a newly built condo 2021 with this company managing it to the ground for three years.

Many incidents include Hot water tank issues not being handled for months and it happened twice.

A family member was involved in a car accident and it happened due to no maintenance of black ice in front of the parkaid. People living in the units came out to clear the ice; not the management.

Recently, the strata council found too many people unsatisfied with their services and a new management company has been assigned.
