Incroyable emplacement ! Mini maison très très douillette.
Possibilité de visiter les animaux de ferme de près.
Feu, hamac, coucher de soleil. Endroit paradisiaque, à ne pas manquer !!

Il y a maintenant une toilette sanitaire adjacente aux maisons, pratique la nuit 🙂

We booked a couple nights in November for a birthday getaway. The weather in Nova Scotia is unpredictable, last week it was sunny and double digits, the night we arrived with the wind and chilly temps. But the cabin was warm and cozy. The lighting around the roof and the lanterns added to the ambiance. The propane heater warmed the cabin, the extra blankets were perfect to cocoon yourself in the hammock in the afternoon.

The farm tour with Heidi was great. Petting a highland coo was on my bucket list and her herd was friendly. And the alpacas have hilarious personalities.

If you're worried about visiting in the cooler season don't be. It's a great place to relax and recharge and the available boardgames were a lot of fun.

There is wifi at the cabins but the point is to disconnect and you won't miss it, between the views, the farm animals and the all around relaxing vibes.

We can't wait to visit again and see how this retreat grows.

We had the BEST time at Ravens Rest Retreat. Heidi went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed including some farm fresh eggs for breakfast! Our little cottage was clean and comfortable with a breathtaking view! The highlight of our stay was definitely spending time with the animals and feeding the cows apples!! If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature then you need to book a stay here! We can’t wait to come back!! Thank you so much Heidi and Jim!!

We so enjoyed our stay here and only wish our schedule would have allowed us to stay longer. The pictures we had seen before were beautiful but the feel and views were even better in person. We were lucky enough to get to stay in a cabin one night and the handicap accesible cottage one night. Both had beautiful views and the most comfortable beds. We loved the books and games provided and enjoyed a relaxed phone-free family game night. A highlight was getting to meet King Henry and his crew as well as the alpacas. My 12 year old daughter would happily feed the cows apples every day forever and ever! And we lucked into the most fabulous display of the Northern Lights one night. Incredible icing on the cake of this beautiful trip.

Wonderful place to stay. Like a little paradise up on the cliff side! The cottages are really nice, well equipped and comfortable. The views of the bay and sunset are amazing! The cottages come equipped with a really nice barbecue so you can prepare a great dinner.

This place is also very very kid friendly. You’re basically staying on a farm with highland cows, chicken, and even alpacas. The owner Heidi is wonderful and puts in a lot of effort. She gave our 16 month old daughter a tour of the animals including feeding the alpacas and chickens - our daughter loved it!

Such an incredible stay at Raven’s Rest, this was the highlight of our Nova Scotia trip! We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is so beautiful with an amazing view of the bay. The farm itself is stunning, easy to spend hours sitting in the hammock overlooking the grounds. We loved roasting marshmallows in the evening.

The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Bathroom, though shared, was impeccably clean and well stocked.

Highly recommend taking time to say hi to the animals and feeding apples to the VERY friendly and enthusiastic highland cows.

Hosts are super responsive, friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough for time to really relax and unwind. 5 stars from start to finish!!!

Had an incredible stay at Raven’s Rest Retreat in the Spirit cabin. This place is magical - private and peaceful with breathtaking views of the Bay of Fundy and Burntcoat Head. The off-grid cabin was well stocked, clean and comfortable (even had fresh eggs and local coffee and honey). Heidi was a wonderful host, attentive, informative, and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the highland cows and alpacas. It is clear that Heidi is passionate about caring for the animals, land, and environment respectfully and sustainably - it’s a labour of love and it shows. We will be back again. Thank you!
