I was referred to Realty Canada by a trusted individual in the industry, who spoke highly of the owner. While I’ve had positive experiences with Don, unfortunately I cannot say the same of Carlo Cimino who was assigned to manage my unit.

Key issues I’ve experienced with Carlo were evasive communication and follow through on responsibilities beyond finding a tenant and collecting rent.

Replacement of a smoke detector took well over two months before I was told that it was replaced, only to find out it wasn’t went I had to stop by my property to check something out. I can only imagine the liability on my hands had I not flagged it, and even that took several more follow ups before it was finally resolved.

The final straw was went my tenant moved out. Carlo never picked up the keys from the tenant in person, or did a walkthrough of the unit like he said he would. Instead, I had to personally visit my property yet again to informed him that the tenant left behind a mess. Another week and several visits on my end went by with no update or clean up before I finally had to terminate our contract through Don.

To say that I’m disappointed with Realty Canada is an understatement. I was looking for a long-term arrangement, but instead it only lasted four months because clearly my business was valued nor my property adequately cared for.

I gave a two-star rating to acknowledge Carlo’s decent efforts on tenant placement and Don’s swift handling of the termination. But I would strongly advised against Carlo’s services for out-of-town owners, and I sure as hell would NOT entrust him as my realtor to handle one of the biggest financial and legal transaction of my life.

I apologize for the star that I gave you, if I could I would not have given this star. The worst company I have dealt with to solve problems, there is no interest in the problems that occur and there is no quick response. Unfortunately, great negligence.

I will not put any evidence for my words at the moment, but if the situation continues like this, I will put pictures and copies of the correspondence between us and the way and speed of resolving the problems.

Hi have been renting with Realty Canada for the past 7 years. Since day one, my contact at Realty Canada, Carlo, has always give me the most professional and personal service! Anytime I have any issues, I contact Realty Canada and receive a call back usually on the same day within hours. Even today with temperatures nearing 30 Celsius, they had their service representative here within 2-3 hours to address air conditioning issues. It is a pleasure dealing with the Carlo and the team at Realty Canada!!!

Not impressed my daughter has been waiting for 1 1/2 to meet up with Christa to get her keys for her place and no contact from Christa at all. So she went to the office and Christa didn't even have anything ready for her and wasn't there. So now my daughter doesn't have her keys and is flying out tonight for the weekend and doesn't have her place to come back to. I will edit this as the owner did call me back and was very apologetic about the whole situation and will compensate my daughter. If all goes well I will change my rating bit will have to wait and see.

As a new tenant to Realty Canada, I felt I must thank you Cris for expediting the process of replacing my toilet. You took me at my word without all the rigmarole and broken promises I have experienced in the past. My new monthly PAD setup was successful and the amount correctly debited. Pest infestation is now in the hands of Braden Equities and they will begin treatment in the near future. Don't mean to keep you. Just a note of commendation and positive first impression and appreciation of your level of expertise and service.

Do not rent from their realty. All you will get is anxiety. Money minded with zero emotions people run this realty. If anything wrong happens from their end they will say sorry and they will say that ‘ we were swamped under work’ however, if tenant do something wrong, they will send you notice and heavy bills. Bills for wear amd rear as well. Ha ha. For your information, we also paid 500 CAD when unknowingly we put our hose by the toilet bowl. That thing was settled but we did not keep your money saying lies like you guys did, saying that you need more than 600 CAD for Professional cleaning of the house that was already cleaned professionally and carpets that were already cleaned and steamed professionally. Receipt was also shared with you. We got it done professionally. Now I think we shouldn’t have done that. I am not the only one saying such things about you. Check your reviews.
