The realtor told me that the other half of the duplex was owned by a young family who intended on fixing it up and after I moved in I discovered that in fact the family had abandoned the house months before my house was even listed and now I am concerned that my house will be worth nothing. As well I received many assurances that nothing in my house required repair and that was patently untrue as well. I have had to repair one of the toilets and the furnace thus far as well as sundry other small repairs. The realtor says he was simply conveying to me with the seller told to him. I simply do not know who to believe.

My Fiancé and I used Platinum Realty for the purchase of our first home and we have found the staff and specifically our agent Tim to be thorough in during every step of the process. We looked at over 20 homes and throughout we were taught countless tips and tricks that have helped us to understand what is important in home buying. There were many weekends and nights where Tim made himself available upon short (or no) notice to answer a question or show a home. Tim was there through every step guiding us and pushed for the best deal we could get. Truly a realtor who we feel is on our side. We would definitely use their services again.

We used Platinum realty to sell our home, when someone was interested in the property our agent explained a different agent had the client. We didn't think to much of it until the sale came through and we realized the agent was within their office, something they failed to mention. I'm sure this happens, however the honesty would have been nice. Even during the negotiation of the property the agent working for us tried pushing for more upgrades to the home, it felt like she was working with the buyer more then us whitch on some level I'm sure was the case. Lastly: after the sale was done, we didn't hear anything.. no 'hey thanks for the thousands I made off you' nothing. My husband and I both feel disappointed in Service we received, we just wanted a quick sale but after all of it we feel like they took advantage of that. If we could do it again we would use a more reputable company.
