Lots of shopping! Watch parking meter signs though you can end up with a ticket due times allowed at those parking meters usually 3- 6 there are areas that become no parking.

The downtown has vastly improved over the years, with more and more events making use of the plaza space and surrounding area. The farmer's market is really nice to visit on the weekends and I think the increased lighting and reduced shrubs have had an effect on the safety of the area.

Parking downtown is horrible. I paid the meter using the app, did not realize I selected the wrong plate, got a ticket. Then I moved my vehicle and repaid, realized I made the same mistake and the 5 minutes in between paying the meter for one plate, then adding the other player and repaying (so double paying) I got a second ticket. It'll be a long time before I go downtown again. So disappointed because in both instances I paid for parking.

This is a huge reason why downtown businesses are dying. And especially on Indigenous Peoples Day, like does the city not want people stimulating in the local economy and participating I have local cultural events? So frustrating.

Very well developed. Busy yet organized traffic, All the government offices are at nearby areas. Just parking is a headache and costely.
