When I launched my mental health practice at the Regus Commerce Corporate Center (2023), the setting was warm and inviting, with amenities that comforted my clients and me. However, over the past year, there has been a dramatic shift in the atmosphere and operational procedures.

The once-friendly reception area has become a strict security checkpoint, with constantly locked doors and a closed main entrance, creating a maze-like experience. My Southeast LA clients describe navigating the building as moving through a "rat maze," with unmarked, monochrome doors that confuse especially new visitors.

The client reception process has also become burdensomely complex, requiring direct contact for me to escort clients from the elevator exits, which diminishes the professional ambiance expected in a corporate setting.

Additionally, interactions with corporate office representatives have worsened, turning from approachable to often passive-aggressive when handling feedback or contract clarifications. This change in staff demeanor adds to an unwelcoming environment.

Regus has also introduced charges for basic services like greeting clients and announcing their arrival, making the waiting area feel more like a sterile, institutional detention center.

The only positives are free parking and a new Starbucks, which slightly brightens the stark setting. However, these benefits are overshadowed by restrictive and client-unfriendly changes.

Moreover, the lack of air conditioning on weekends leads to uncomfortably warm office conditions, especially in summer and in window offices. These issues, combined with an overpriced, sterile setting, detract significantly from the location’s appeal.

Since these changes, 95% of my clients prefer video sessions over office visits, driven by the increasingly unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment. For those in the medical, mental health, or helping professions, I recommend considering other locations, as the current setup at Regus Commerce Corporate Center is not conducive to a therapeutic or client-centered atmosphere.

The staff is excellent, especially the front desk team, who are always attentive and ready to assist. The building is well maintained and provides a welcoming environment, It’s a great space to be productive and comfortable at the same time.

The current staff has made some amazing upgrades - keeping the office space/ workspaces/and Lounge area modern and running efficiently. Sharing the services at this office has been phenomenal. It more than just the spanking clean facility but he vibes are very pro-cool. As often stated, you can’t choose your family, but you choose your friends.

Staff here is a true extension of helpfulness, always asserting their pleasant spirit, attitude and care for us tenants. There’s a day when I will be leaving this place and will sorely miss it.

I've been to different Regus locations before and have worked out of other office rental companies BUT this location was awesome and is by far my favorite one.

I booked a day office and let me say, this is the best office space rental I've came across. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the receptionists and staff are so nice and professional, specially Ms. Addy Parga. She was very helpful and patient the whole time and makes the process so smoothly. I'm the type of person to ask many questions and she answered every single one without being rude or getting frustrated like the past experiences I've had. I felt comfortable working there. It's a great office to go to specially when you work from home and need a little bit of peace and quiet away from home life.

I hope go back soon, definitely recommend!
