Horrible general manager. Ruining Northview brand across the city. They claim to represent a place to call home but the general manager couldn't care less. Calgary head office is useless. I reported a complaint against the general manager and received a 14 day notice to vacate as their response. I lived there 2 years. Never missed rent. Had some issues regarding trashy neighbors. Tried to get moved to another apartment and was evicted instead. Upside is moving out Northview will spam your emails for reviews and boy did I deliver. It only took two years to get that diseased infected tree removed from the front. Your welcome (if only they hired professionals) the other tree is still spreading that disease so enjoy.

Fyi. Ladies in the front office are very polite but have no power to accomplish basic requests. The office is often closed and barely any response by phone. Poor management. Shame on you Northview. My new place is great! Alberta property management. Privet condo. My place to call home.

Living here has been nothing but stressful, frustrating, and disappointing. This building is absolutely disgusting and completely overpriced for what you get. The hallways smell like garbage half the time, and there have been cockroaches, which they barely acknowledged or did anything about. Not to mention the maintenance request for a collapsed closet shelving that took over two months to resolve. Right now, the laundry card loading machine has been down for over a week, with no update or alternative provided. When asked, the only response is, “It could take up to two weeks because they’re the only company in town.” That’s not a solution.. that’s a lazy excuse. People have jobs, kids, lives.. and we’re supposed to just not do laundry for two weeks?

The office is randomly closed during regular business hours, so when you go to pay rent and find the door locked, your only option is to pay online.. and then they charge you a fee for it. That’s right: we get charged more because they weren’t open when they were supposed to be.

Communication is almost nonexistent. There’s no real updates on building issues, and no accountability. For what they charge in rent, you’d think they’d at least maintain the property and provide basic services consistently, but they don’t. Everything feels like it’s falling apart, and management seems to have no urgency to fix anything.

Do not rent here unless you want to overpay to live in a dirty, poorly run building with no laundry access, unreliable management, and zero regard for tenant wellbeing. They do the bare minimum and still expect full rent, late fees, and payment processing charges like everything is fine. It’s not.

This is by far the WORST rental experiences I’ve ever had.

Can’t wait to get out of here.

If there was an option of zero star, I could have gone for it. Customer service is really bad that even if you call them they will not answer and don’t bother to call back. I had lots of complaints but they never listened and they only care about money. No security lots of pests foul smell, all of it is here. Don’t choose them. You will regret it badly.

Terrible customer service. Just want to steal money from tenants. Just because unit number is not mentioned on parking pass they towed my car. which is there responsibility to mention when they issue the pass. From my parking spot. Just looting people.

Northview Apartments is a joke. The management is beyond rude and completely ignores tenants. No matter how many times I reached out with concerns, they couldn’t be bothered to respond or help. They clearly don’t care about their residents, only the rent money. If you want to be treated with basic respect, don’t choose them. You’ll regret it.

Despite all the negative reviews I have nothing but good things to say! From the building maintenance staff to the office management! Everything was great in our 3 years of living in their building! If we didn't wanna expand into a full-sized house we would still be there!

Northview Apartments has absolutely zero customer service. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and couldn’t care less about tenants. Maintenance requests are ignored, and the place is a mess. If you’re thinking about moving here—don’t.

I wanted to give them 0 stars, avoid them at all coasts North View is nothing but a money hungry company, first they rent me the apartment for $200 more then other renters in the same building, I had no other choice then , now when I finally left after completing a year lease , they deducted almost $150 from my security deposit. $75 for the mail box lock change when their own inspection guy said “keep the keys for a week because you will receive mails still and $25 for they laundry card when we already returned them. The whole year we lived their was stressful and their apartment was full with roaches before we moved there and when we complained about that they always sent a useless guy who did nothing but said “oh this is normal” I couldn’t move out because of the one year lease agreement.
Totally disappointed.
