I wasn't going to post this review as I don't like giving negative reviews but since I am always honest in my reviews here goes.

First time in this store as we went for a drive from Leduc County as my husband wanted to go for a drive and check out a few places in Camrose. When we saw the garden seeds he suggested that I buy them here so I did. We met a nice older woman who asked us if we needed help when we were shopping.

I was disappointed with the cashier though. I dug out my reusable shopping bag and put it down and opened it up so she could put the garden seeds and onion sets boxes in the bag. For some strange reason I actually thought the girl would have had the courtesy to at least put the seeds in the bag but nope.

Maybe it's store policy that you pack your own items but there was zero notice of that and I guess I should have asked.

Also she scanned everything so quickly I was sure she had made an error but I didn't check my receipt til I got home and sure enough she charged me for one extra pkg of seeds and overcharged me on one of the other pkgs of seeds. It was only $3.29 overcharge but if she did that to every customer it adds up.

What disturbed me was the lack of respect I felt when she basically scanned the seeds and just left them in a pile, told me the price which was over $80.00 which I paid, then she literally walked away from behind the counter while I filled the bag myself. No words, nothing, just literally walked away.

I don't normally complain but you know that saying ... "You might not remember what someone said exactly but you always remember how they made you feel".

I honestly didn't feel like a valued customer.

Hope everyone else has a better experience.

A friendly smile and common courtesy, and respect goes a very long way if you want to keep customers coming back.

We moved to the area in November and have shopped here a number of times since, recently bought 3 appliances there, and Alex was just a joy to deal with, we have always got excellent service, and all the staff seems happy, this is a great store to shop and highly recommend it. Thanks for the great service Alex.

I showed up at Rona to purchase Kilz product needed for my main floor repaint. Sadly this location sold nothing comparable in primer sealer product. I did purchase a product recommended to me by a sales staff member. It failed miserably.
The next day, I drove to the nearest Home Depot. They sell the full line of Kilz product, and I purchased exactly what my task required.
In my opinion, Rona needs to make adjustments to their product lines.
I won't be investing anymore time and money in their over priced paint department. Lesson learned.

The Manager at Camrose location has 0 respect for customer service or the future of the company. I am canceling my Vip and would advise anyone who has had the "pleasure" of dealing with him do the same

Had to get some plumbing parts and the older gentleman in the plumbing section was incredibly helpful. Im not a plumber by trade so his knowledge and advice was very much appreciated. Cant say ive ever had costumer service that good before and I'll definitely come back because of it. I can't recall his name but he had an east coast accent. Hang onto this employee, someone who cares about helping to this extent is hard to come by.

Found flooring in South Common on sale that we liked. Looked on the internet and found out local store in Camrose had the flooring so opted to buy local. What a mistake absolutely no customer service. Completely ignored by staff - not just one staff member - but 3 walked past as we loaded several boxes of flooring.

I purchased a natural gas bbq online to be picked up at Camrose location they didn’t have any in stock but there were ones in stock at a near by city and when I ordered it said 7 to 14 days be ready for pick up. I thought that’s fine well 5 minutes after ordering they pulled the bait and switch and sent an email saying it would be three weeks pending. Talked to customer service online they basically said it is what it is. No apologies for the delays nothing. Very rude and not apologetic about the miscommunication I go online now to see tha availability of the bbq and it says 7 to 14 days seems like just their default cause if they said three weeks before ordering people would go somewhere else.

Had to purchase some contact cement, after I went across the street to get some groceries at Walmart, found the same exact product there for $5 less! Dismayed at the huge gap in price, only a 6 oz container so a remarkable markup. Needed some plumbing parts, sales person was of no assistance so went to home hardware where I was assisted in finding everything.
