When we were trying to find an emergency condo to live in after my motor vehicle collision forced us to give up our home, Satyam from Royal LePage was in contact within minutes after I called. I had to hang up on the secretary to take his call, that's how fast it was. He assured me that he would find something suitable for me and my partner, taking into consideration my physical and mental disability and my partner's goals. Satyam Prashar was very professional, always on time, and even early at times. He was available 24/7 to address any questions or concerns. His main goal was to help us find our dream home and alleviate the stress of the situation. He also connected us with a good home inspector and a reliable lawyer, and coordinated effectively with our bank and mortgage advisor. The entire team worked together seamlessly, allowing us to complete the process quickly.

Satyam was thorough and attentive to our preferences. If we didn't like something, he would find an alternative, and if we wanted to see a property, he made it happen the next day. He maintained regular contact with us until the sale was completed. Understanding my situation after the collision, he offered me rides, picked up my keys, and even drove me to appointments for viewings. He took his job seriously and was committed to finding us our dream home, which is a makes a good realtor. I believe Satyam Prashar will be very successful in this field because he prioritizes customer needs above all else.

I have so much faith in him that I plan to use his services again in the next 5 to 7 years when we move out east for our retirement. I am confident that he will guide us through that process as well. Having been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, I can recognize who will succeed, and I believe Satyam will excel in his career. On the day of our closing, he and his wife visited me, knowing about my physical and mental disabilities, and brought a special cake to congratulate us on our first home. Their gesture brought light into a dark time for us.

We are very happy with our penthouse, and the views are breathtaking. I see nothing but class from Satyam Prashar, and I hope to stay in contact with him over the years because he is a kind and classy gentleman. If you want a realtor who truly works for you, I highly recommend him, and I don't recommend many people.

When Brian joined Royal LePage Triland he added me to a mailing list and even though I didn't used his service, he carried on mailing a calendar every year. Very unimpressed with the accommodations of this brokerage in regards to Richard Nichols. His sign is on a small lot next to our house, as close as humanly possible while still "not being on our property". This sign has been vandalized and has caused our house to be targeted as well, in addition to people consistently walking around our property and knocking on our windows.
We initially complained when the sign was up, as it didn't even state that it was for a lot, and the issues have continued since they placed the "lot available" addition on the sign. We called today to ask that the sign be moved further from our property line, so that it wouldn't be associated with our house. I looked up the municipal bylaws regarding realtor signs, and they must be 1.5 meters away from any private property line, which this sign most definitely is not. As my request is in line with the bylaw, I did not think this was an unreasonable request.
Richard Nichols then knocked on our door and was extremely rude and unprofessional. He refused to do anything to help with the issue, and even demanded that we pay him back the expense of moving the sign if the harassment HIS sign is causing us didn't stop. Very disappointing experience that reflects poorly on this brokerage.

We chose Lorie Johnson because she had sold a house very quick in our Blackfriars neighbourhood to a contractor for development. We were excited to have her working for us.
In the end Lorie sold our house to her contractor. She originally tried to get us to use him for our renovations for the sale and he made an offer that we turned down. She told us she uses him often and he returns the favor by getting stuff done faster than other contractors in town.
When the offers came in Lorie told us that a young couple wanted our house and we thought a family would be perfect for our house. When we saw the final sale contract it was her contractor who was also a developer. During closing there were a few issues and we had to do all the work on our own. We found out Lorie knew stuff without telling us as she was in communication with her contractor (buyer) and the buying agent without telling us. She made decisions that were in his best interest.
In the end we felt Lorie Johnson was very unprofessional and unethical. We wonder how many other contractors she was deals with? We would not refer her to anyone.

As per your response Peter:
You didn't address anything I commented on. It was in the best interest of Lorie to have her contractor buy our home. I caught her in a few lies right off with who was purchasing the home when she said it was a young couple and made it sound like we would be doing them a favour to take all their conditions as the market was taking a pause.
At the end of closing there were a few issues and she knew stuff but choose not to share it with us. She had been communicating with the buyer and buyer's agent without communicating with her clients. We felt left out and it was obvious that this was all in her best interest.

We cant say enough about our agent John Crosby! We had our 100 acre equestrian facility up for sale for 3 years prior to hiring John and had zero offers and weak leads. Our property was very unique and required a special buyer.
