I purchased a unit from Royal Living Development Group, and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. The building is truly unique in Mountain Hamilton, offering great quality. It’s also the first building in the area with a rooftop patio, which adds to its appeal!

It’s obvious that most of these reviews are fake. What developer has a perfect 5/5 rating? Do not work with Royal Development Group Inc.—you will regret it.

This developer misrepresents key terms in their Development Fact Sheet. They claim “assignments available” and “developer fees capped.” Both are false. These terms are missing from their sales agreements, and when confronted, they dismiss concerns by saying, “Oops, you should have made sure it was in the contract.”

Assignment refusals despite advertising otherwise. When one of the purchasers died, we requested an assignment. Their response, after two months? “Nope. Doesn’t matter what we advertise.”

Fees are not capped unless your lawyer fights for it. Their default is deception—seeing how much they can get away with. This is the opposite of a ‘good faith’ relationship.

Slow and aggressive legal responses. Their lawyer took two months to reply to a basic inquiry. When they finally did, the response was nothing but threats and demands—an adversarial nightmare when dealing with a major purchase like a home.

Occupancy Fees: Expect to pay $5,000+ per month while waiting for final closing. They do not care about the financial burden they impose on buyers.

A $750,000 condo missing (purposefully) basic essentials—no toilet paper holders, towel racks, or shower doors (despite stating they would install glass doors).

Cheap, corner-cutting construction—thin granite, exposed cutouts, cheap cabinets, and improperly mounted pipes. Honestly, cardboard closet doors would have been an upgrade.

Dangerous design flaws—dryer filters placed dangerously out of reach (for anyone—you would have to sit on the dryer by the ceiling to access it).

Major layout issues—the front door was hung backwards, forcing entry into the corner of the unit instead of the hallway.

Unfinished, unusable amenities—a ‘fitness room’ with just a few basic machines and a ‘party room’ left unfinished, yet owners are charged full condo fees during occupancy.

Freezing cold hallways despite excessive fees.

Don't expect them to reach out to "make things right"—they won’t. Don't expect them to fix things on the pre-delivery inspection. Just silence.

If they did this to us, they’ve done it to everyone. Their contracts do not match their promises. They refuse to work with buyers, delay responses, and cut costs at every step—while maximizing what they take from you.
