I had my personal fears and concerns when my co-worker recommended his brother-in-law, Sunny Gill, as my realtor. We were living in a townhouse and wanted to upgrade to a house because our kids were growing up. We engaged with Sunny in mid-2023, and it was a long search lasting about 1.5 years. During the first few house visits, I still had reservations about his ability to represent us in such a significant financial transaction. I am the kind of person who wants to ensure the money I am putting on the table is right—not more, not less, but exactly the price I am paying for. I pushed Sunny above and beyond. We saw about 20-25 homes together with Sunny and his family. He became a part of my family eventually. He is a nice person, attentively listens to what you are looking for, and adapts the home search by getting to know you more as a person. Sunny also did a lot of market analysis for each home we were interested in and provided comparative analysis to help us decide whether to proceed or not. He remained unbiased, kept his fatigue and emotions in check, and truly worked with us as a professional. Eventually, we found a property at a fair price, which Sunny helped us negotiate. For every request we made, Sunny ensured it was either fulfilled or negotiated with the other party's realtor. If our request was not realistic, he made sure to explain why it wasn't.

Sunny is a true real estate professional, and I am confident that I will not find a better realtor in the Vancouver market.
