My fiancé and I had a laundry list of “wants” and “needs” when it came to our first home. Rather than being discouraged by this, Greg took the time to discuss our lifestyle, what we wanted out of a home and how we could maximize our budget to achieve these goals. As someone who has little knowledge regarding home ownership, I found Greg’s guidance in this regard invaluable.

Apart from being prompt and professional in each of our interactions, Greg would oftentimes go above and beyond what was required when we asked him a question. He attended each listing with a printout of the property details, information he received by word of mouth, and comparable listings in the area so that we could determine competitive offers. Any concerns we expressed regarding a given property were quickly met with a solution. For instance – we had some apprehension regarding the foundation of a home and within half an hour Greg had provided a list of engineers we could reach out to with estimates as to the cost; when we needed to change the closing date, Greg immediately prepared an addendum to the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and had it circulated to all parties within a day. His prompt attendance to our needs made us feel like we were always a priority.

Finally, Greg’s knowledge of the real estate market, not only with respect to market trends but also regarding more nuanced skills, like strategy and negotiation, was also very beneficial for us. He proposed ideas that we wouldn’t have otherwise considered, and which ultimately resulted in us getting our dream home.

In the end, this process couldn’t have gone better and we can’t wait to move in.
